Sorry, but I just can't help thinking that Brady's last throw as a Pat could actually be a pick 6. When that throw went to the wrong house, I knew his career wasn't over. He might have been 99% ready to retire before that throw. And then, BOOM, hold my beer. I never thought there would be any doubt he came back as a Pat, though.

That pick was like Bussy fumbling at the 1 against the Colts. It was about the most improbable thing that could have been imagined. Both events make me giggle like a schoolgirl, however; not because of the event, but because of the outcome.

A few QB's have left and had success with another team late in their careers. Montana, Farve, I believe both took a team to a championship game, Manning won a SB (albeit some might say in spite of himself). For all the critics of Belichek, one thing he seems to be very good at is knowing when the drop off in production is coming, and not be afraid to move on. The talent around Brady last year was subpar, and in a right system may still produce on a good enough level to get the prize, but age consumes everybody and yes one year can make that much of a difference. Interesting to see how this plays out.

One thing I can probably bet on, Brady won't be signing with the Pats at a discount. And that may ultimately force dark hoodie's hand.

I don't think Dark Hoodie wants him. Tom it's been fun but retire already.

Just watch for the best wr moves being made and you'll get an idea of where he's likely going.

TB in TB. Maybe that's the main reason lol?

Hopefully not good enough. But it will be interesting with TB in the NFC.

It isn't going to work in TB. Brady is done. Done. Huge mistake by TB. Of course they're desperate to be relevant but this isn't the answer. Neither is Jameis, obviously. Oh well.

As much as we hate Brady through the osmosis of our hatred for the Patriots, he is a smart and level headed guy. I can't think of where the perfect place is for whatever he has left but I am willing to bet he will find it and exploit it.

Yes but could he help Cheaters Anonymous?

On second thought, I'm sure they could benefit from his vast experience!:smiley1:

I think you're spot on. There's a story out on ESPN right now that "several players" have requested to play for the Bucs now that TB is headed there. My money is that #1 is (former) #84, since TB was pretty much the only person that was civil towards him during his social media meltdown.

I just saw a report basically saying not so fast that the Bucs aren't interested. Wait and see I guess.

He's referring to him as Marcia Brady from the Brady Bunch.
