I live in Kansas City and yesterday I was doing a delivering to a restaurant. Some guy walked in wearing an autographed Pittsburgh Steelers Juju Smith Schuster jersey. I told him I liked his shirt and then showed him my steelers tattoo. He told me he was cousins with Juju. I thought to myself that he was full of it. When I came back into the restaurant with my next load of the delivery, he had Juju on facetime and let me talk to him. I'm still excited!!!

Cool story. My son was a ball boy for the team. My son never delivered on the auto graphed ball as he promised. No big deal for me though. I'm not really that "star stuck" type. I am a star in my own profession so.....

My cousin dated a Steelers player. That's all I have to offer at this time.

I love stories of people meeting Steelers.

    Here's another one.

A while back my sister brought my nephew to a corporate meet and greet with AB. My nephew is a huge fan, and a youth football player. He and AB hit it off for some reason and AB spent a good while with him. AB actually tweeted out a picture of him hanging with my nephew! Not the other way around like you would expect. My nephew was so excited. Definitely a memory he will never forget.

Shook hands with Rock at the alumni dinner night before Rudolph tamed the Rams. Met some of the others and even Rooney jr himself. cool memories

sad thing is I had the hookup during the porter era. I was a year older than him but played with the homies and worked with other homies. Couldn’t cash in when it was a thing due to babies on the way and work schedules.

All these fools bragging about the bus calling their dad from the field, the wild nights after the game etc... none of em steeler fans.

    such is life

My great Niece dated a Steeler a few years back and his name escapes me. They only went on a few dates. I remember how she said he was only attracted to my girls. (breast)

She also dated the Uncle of those poor young girls whose Ahole father killed them after killing the mother in Colorado some years back. Netflix has a Documentary about it and Lifetime made a movie about it.

My Dad was a Chargers fan. I’m not sure why other than he always talked about Dan Fouts.

So was my dad. He was a "Charger Backer". I'm sure if we had settled in, say Denver, I would have grown up a Broncos fan but; San Diego it was.

I grew up with Bryant McFadden's uncle and aunt, also know his dad (he is about 4 years older than me).

Lawrence Timmons played for one of my high school's rivals, so I've seen him quite a bit when we were both in the area when he played for the Steelers.

Javon Kirkland is also from the area and have met his as well.

A couple of decades ago the night before the Cincinnati game I went into a club and there was about a dozen or so Steelers in there. Darren Perry invited me and my girlfriend to sit at his table and we talked about everything except for football for about an hour. I think he really enjoyed just normal conversation without me being star struck. The guy is really down to earth and then I wished him good luck in the game tomorrow.

The girlfriend and I went to the game and he had a big interception to pretty much seal the game. My GF kept telling everyone around us that he was the guy we were hanging out with the night before.

JUJU seems like a really good guy and I hope he finally has a big game today.

All 3 of my older sons are friends with Joe Burrow, they played football and basketball against him several times a year since middle school days. He could have easily went Pro in basketball as well.

Lol. He was responsible for me being a Steelers fan.
The Super Bowl between the Steelers and Cowboys in 1978. I was watching with my Dad and he was rooting for the Steelers to win so naturally so was I. For a kid in the 70’s you were either a Steelers or a Cowboys fan. I always like to say I chose the right team.

Years ago, my then girlfriend and I were at Rib Feast down town and I met Gabe Rivera. Seeing that huge, powerful man in a wheel chair put a lump in my throat and made me think twice about my occasional habit of driving while impaired back then. He was a really nice person. I have a photo here of the three of us that a friend of his snapped. My dad met Lynn Swann at his corporate Christmas party in the late 70's. Couldn't say enough nice things about him. He was a paid guest speaker, but he actually stayed well past the time he was compensated for, and made sure everyone that wanted an autograph and a photo got them.
