I saw someone say he was doing 104 KPH not MPH. I think he was just messing with folks. But let’s go ahead and alienate him for joking around. Dang.

There's a magnified pic of his speedometer online and it looks like MPH, not KPH.

Schefter just reported this...."It wasn't JuJu, it was Shortround". NFL has stopped their investigation due to highway surveillance... shortround.jpg

    Hey Ray.

"But it's normal young man behavior"

Okay but he does not have to let the whole world know that he did something so irresponsible and reckless. This is what will open him up to a WHOLE LOT of criticism. Does he really want that kind of attention?

I'm not part of the social media generation. THAT part, I don't understand his reasoning. But it seems on par with his generation posting every. damned. thing. they do.

Prove that Brown was doubled almost every play. AB wasn't the only or main reason Juju had success. The play of the QB was the reason Juju was a productive player.

Again we know that Juju can be a productive player with adequate QB play. I think Juju will be fine if the Steelers can get adequate QB play. It would be difficult for any WR to have consistent success with the Steelers QB situation.

    Hey Ray D.

Yes, me too in that I also am not down with the social media generation. This, from a computer teacher. I am not knocking it or judging it. There are some real exciting and useful applications for social media. And even when it is just for fun that is cool too....at times. However, once you post something you better hope it does not come back to bite you in the butt. What some people who do post either do not realize, or care, is that you are now on display for the "World Audience". I constantly review these concepts with my students; emphasizing to use foresight when you do engage with these type of programs.

    Hey BURGH43STEL.

I agree that the "double coverage" may not have been the only reason but there is no denying it was a factor. There are multiple reasons as you stated. Yes, the QB play is big. Just look at the only pass play that Ben and JuJu hooked up with in pre-season. It lead to a perfectly placed ball for a TD. This team, like most is only "going to go" as the "QB goes". And right now our QB's, for the most part, are not going. As well as the O-Line, the TEs, the RBs, the Coaching, and on and on....

    Hey FootballAnalyst98.

    Sequence of Events:
    • Pass had to be made.
    • Pass is either accurate or not.
    • Receiver adjusts to ball if necessary (good one's usually do on inaccurate throw, like AB)
    • Receiver either catches it or not.
Given that, I can't help think of one person.... "Limas Sweed"

I was so jacked when we drafted him. His collegiate film was awesome. I really thought we had one there. What a disappointment!

    Hey Disco1981.

Two words as I just stated in another post.... Limas Sweed.

I cannot help but repeat myself here. I really thought he was going to be special based on his collegiate performances. Just Disgusting!

See Steel, that's the scary part. I think he does. It's like a child acting out. They just want attention, good or bad doesn't matter. I don't think that he, or AB, or any of the other highly paid millennials can help themselves. And like I said before, live by the sword, die by the sword. That which gives them such pleasure and emotional euphoria also can take it away in a harsh and brutal way.

I didn't say or make that suggestion.

I asked you to prove that Brown was double mostly every play. I realize that's kind of hard to prove without extensive film review of approximately 1000 offensive plays.

My opinion is that WR success generally hinges on the play of the QB. The offense also has a young group of WR's that appear to have the potential to be a good group. They had a difficult time being productive with the inconsistent QB play they had. That will remain to be the case until the QB position has some stability and consistent play.

Again, we know that Juju can be a good and productive WR with adequate QB play. I am not sure why people doubt his ability to produce with what he's show up to this point of his career? Players in a team sport need other players support to have success. No player can be successful without the aid or impact of others around them.

People need to stop saying it is one thing. There were many reasons Smith-Schuster was so productive last year and he has done so much less this season. His own injuries have played some role. The loss of Roethlisberger is part of it. The loss of Brown is part of it. My issue is with the people who insist on leaving that last part out because it forces them to admit that losing Brown really did hurt this team after all.

Posters on here wanted to see Mason Era begin and that losing AB wouldn’t affect the offense. Well.........

This might be the worst offense in the NFL

You can lump me in with that group. I believed in Mason and diminished AB's value. I was wrong on both counts.

Hey The Glory Days and Everyone Else.

You know me, this is going to be somewhat long but I think it is well worth it, for everyone. Before I “psychoanalyze” I just want to let everyone know that I am just a teacher. I just want to say that this is all speculation. Yes, I have 30+ years of working with young people and that his situation could apply to anyone in this world, any of us. It really comes down to a whole lot of circumstances, individual at that. Also, this type of behavior has been going on since the beginning of time. As I have stated many times on the board, we just have so many avenues of telecommunications today to bring this to us instantaneously.

Given that, yes, last year before I joined the Board here I was somewhat worried about this with JuJu, as well as other players in general. Just a theory as to why he sped and posted it. He had a lot of success and as I stated before, the media depicted him as the Happy-Go-Lucky “Kid”. Youngest in the league at the time I believe. He was doing the “Undercover Reporter” act downtown. Fans calling him out from across the street. You know all of the good stuff. Now, without that “success”, the “Happy Table” has turned in a sense. Maybe, which is directly correlated to his lack of his “on the field production”?

I do not know maybe this has nothing to do with football at all. Either way, yes, I stand by my assessment. It was immature, reckless, and put many in danger. The big point that you, others, and I see is the “Look At Me” syndrome. Is he crying for help for something? Football drop-off? Something totally else? I just hope that he sees the errors of his ways and if he does need help gets it. I also hope that Steelers’ Management takes this VERY, VERY SERIOUSLY!

    Hey Formerscribe.

Yes, there are numerous reasons as to why JuJu is struggling this season. I went on record all summer, and here, that the loss of AB was without a doubt going to affect JuJu's performance. Going one more, the loss of Bell has hurt our running game as well. Those two, and I do not care about personal feelings here, are plain and simple "Playmakers". We miss them and we need them. With that said, they had to go. Unfortunately, they just did not see how good they had it here.

Same. I believed in mason and I knew losing AB would hurt but not this bad. Didn’t know we would have jamarcus Rudolph either

I knew losing Brown would be a big hit for the offense. I was surprised just how much push back I got on that topic.

I definitely wasn't ready to see the offense in Rudolph's hands, though I hoped he would be better than what we've seen so far.
