I just love this kid. Absolutely love him.

He was asked why he kept looking back on his 97 yard touchdown.

He said because on Madden, his speed is only like 82-83 and he thought he was going to get caught.

Everything he does makes me smile. (Except dropping passes on 3rd and 12 with the game on the line...didnt smile then)

I think Bryant sprayed Pam on his gloves after his 97 yard TD.

Every time they showed Bryant he looked like he was sitting all by himself, he wasn't speaking to anyone. booo hoooo!

Several of us have been saying all along that he would be a fan favorite.

Whats not to like about this kid. Hard worker, blocks like a truck, takes passes to the house. All sounds good to me.

He just has to learn to use the Jumbotron as a rearview mirror.

He`s working on being a fan favorite like Hines Ward. Come to think about it, vicious blocker, love for the game....could it be?

Not sure he's used to it being there.

Also, not sure they actually show it when it's an opposing player on a long run like that.

It was a joke. For what it’s worth Fitzgerald used the Jumbotron in that fashion in the Super Bowl. I seem to remember him even talking about it.

It's just the fact that he actually thought about his Madden stats and figured the opposition ON THE FIELD would be faster based on them.

    He cracks me up.

I think Ju Ju has more athletic talent than Ward.

But, I don't think any Steelers player in history had more heart and love for the game than that guy.

Juju is funny, fan favorite. He is only 20 and is mature more than most. Has good hands, can catch in traffic. Dude is strong and blocks like it. Apparently he is faster than he thought with crazy breakaway speed. Dude looked like a hines/AB mix out there.

so when does he get hurt? I say this because it's just too good to be true, and I am applying the biggest reverse jinx because I love this dude.

That's a bold statement, and I'm not saying you're necessarily wrong, but keep in mind, Ward was one hell of an athlete. Pretty sure he played QB, RB and receiver in college.

He did but Hines wasn't taking a ball to the house 97 yards, he didn't have that kind of speed.

Guy worked his butt off and tried harder than any player, I've ever seen. Tough as nails, Great hands, if you needed a TD or a 3rd down converted he was money.

Isnt it funny how difficult it is to say anything even remotely critical about Hines? Even if it's true? It's like blasphemy. One of the greatest Steelers of all time on and off the field.

Come to think about it, you know the feeling you got when Hines smiled? I get a similar feeling watching JuJu. It is genuine. It is comforting. There's a love of the game that shows through that smile. Hines was special. I think JuJu it might be special too. Time will tell.

JuJuSmith-Schuster's 97-yd rec TD is the longest pass play in Steelers history.

Previous record: Mike Wallace 95-yd TD (Wk 7, 2011 at ARI).

I was referring to after the TD when he dropped a 3rd down pass after the great play. That Bryant must of sprayed Pam on his gloves after the TD.

I would go even further and say out of the whole league. He always had a smile on his face. Especially after drilling a guy into the turf

You guys can't begin to imagine what a warm and fuzzy I get hearing you all compare JuJu and Hines. I hope JuJu is able to leave a legacy similar to Hines...I, like everyone else, really like this kid!

Hines was always my favorite. JuJu reminds me so much of him. The smile, the blocking, the personality, the body frame, the love for the game and for Pittsburgh. I hope he stays in Pittsburgh his whole career.

And I found it extra funny that he knew his Madden speed rating because last week I read an article with JuJu saying when the guys go out to a bar or a club he stays in his room and plays video games all night due to him only being 20, lol you just gotta love the kid!

Ward had no ACL’s I believe.
Ward didn’t have an ACL in one of his knees. Not sure if this hindered his speed though.
