Lol people and their primantis obsession. It’s an institution to who lol ? Not me, it’s soggy fries on soft bread, it’s ok sometimes.

I don't see the big deal. He never said he didn't like Primanti's, just that the service was lousy.

I don't quite get the obsession with Primanti's anyway. They're okay, but there's much better sandwiches out there.

 

I started going to Primanti Brothers back when they only opened at 3 am. We’d go after we got kicked out of the bars. I have no idea if the food was good but it was great at the time.

 

Bad service is bad service. Should have kept his mouth shut & found a better place. Special sauce with that JuJu?

 

Im missing why young people think they have to tell other people what they had to eat?

They CRAVE attention. Twitter, Tik Tok and Facebook it doesn’t matter. The “look at me” generation. They’ll tell you where they live, when they are home and away, what they eat, who they bang and anything else that you want to know.

 

I don't get that either. People putting their weekly menu on FB. I mean, I wasn't invited so what the hell do I care? Of course, they put everything on FB. "Hey, we are going to the Outer Banks for the week of July 11th. Might as well tell the burglars where your expensive jewelry, guns, electronics and cash are while you're at it.

 

I’ve had good service there and terrible service. Think of how bad it must have been for JuJu to post about it.

Right. Who gives a damn? Primanti's is quirky, it's not for everyone anyway. There are tons of great places to eat in S.W. Pa. much better than Primanti's.

 

Did he walk out on the tab like Ben is famous for ? Stiffing local business and their workers ?

Someone else pointed out that 20 somethings have grown up basically within the social media age, so they are comfortable with it. There are pros and cons with it just like everything else. Being a somewhat private person by nature, I don't understand the fascination with sharing every aspect of your life with strangers, but to each their own.

 

Young people have to tell people what they do every minute of the day! Where have you been.

 

No excuse for bad service, it’s a driving force for “service” business. Nothing wrong with pointing out failures by giving a “review” of your experience.

I love Ben and the almost two decades of awesome memories.

Having said that..I had a friends girlfriend experience this and it was like that time I found out who Santa was. lol

He now seems to be completely invested in family life which is is great he slowed down. I guess we all do with family.

 

My wife and I agree that we didn't need a pandemic to avoid people, it simply is a convenient excuse.
