Come on man, outside of the hit on Bell, which many third party players have justified, every other hit has been on the ball carrier and legal. I don't like him anymore than anyone else. but Juju nailed him blind side.

Burfict isn't going to be the one to do it ... you can bet on that. But somebody will and it will be nasty karma.

Our hope is more that Tomlin tries to trip the Bengal assigned to do the hit, from the sideline like he did against the Ravens!

 

Until we can beat the Patriots we won't 'play' in another SB, let alone win won.

You're talking about Burfict? The hit on Brown in the playoff game was not legal. It was dirty. Kicking a Steeler last season during a game was not legal. It was dirty.

There is absolutely no reason to think Burfict won't go after Smith-Schuster if he gets the opportunity because he is dirty as hell.

 

He won't be the one to 'blind side' him. Someone else will do that.

Here's the irony. If he would have become a free agent after leading the league in tackles and making the pro bowl, I guarantee you, the Steelers would have snatched him up and he wouldn't have near the fines and suspensions he has in Cincy, because here in Pitt, he would be considered a hard nose player ala Jack Lambert! If you think anything different than you haven't been a Steelers fan since the 60s like I have and don't know the preferential treatment we get.

Look at Mitchell for crying out loud. He gets away with playing hard nose football and head hunts every chance he gets. Get real!!

Just look at the league's over-reaction to Smith-Schuster's hit on Burfict while Gronkowski's brutal cheap shot against the Colts also got just one game.

 

I'm a realist FS. I'm telling you if we had him on this team, he would be considered a hard nose football player just like Lambert was. Don't know how old you are, but Jack Lambert was almost psychotic! Thing is, it played right into his greatness to be a little nuts on the field.

It's a very different game now from when Lambert played. Most of what Burfict does would have been legal in the '70s, but it isn't legal now. Comparing dirty play in those two eras makes very little sense.
