What's the story on Navarro Bowman , one of the best Run stuffers available, finished season healthy , veteran, not commanding a lot of money. Surprised he is still available

Thats fine, you can cut him up, Im going to give him some slack and appreciate his effort. Steelers came calling for him and he gave it his best shot. He didnt quit on his team or run his mouth off like other dickheads that I wont mention by name. :hehehe:

We had 3 first year guys last year became starters. Watt and juju and you can argue if he was a starter but I have to include Hilton. We also have 3already here that we will count on this season. Adams, Sutton, Allen. Add a couple of top draft picks and we have changed a lot on this defense already. Getting rid of Mitchell, gay, golden, McCullers and moats has made room for these others to step in. Bostic is just another addition so some of you guys complaining that we haven't done anything are flat out wrong. We have done quite a bit so far and will add the draft picks we have already made to the defense. We drafted them to use them. So they needed a year in the system, that's not really that unusual.

    Where do you get that?

They plugged a hole with a guy they reasonably think they can play and win with at a position of need before going into the draft. They likely have plans to look at another plug in the secondary with a reasonably priced free agent before the draft as well.

Likely they're going to select at those same positions in the top 3 rounds and hope to get a playmaker that they can ease into the position as a full time starter.

All the more reason he should be out making great memories rather than hanging here with this lot. We need to take this kid out. :drinks:  :tequila:

So if the season started today, the middle of our defense is manned by Jon Bostic and JJ Wilcox.

We're going to draft some players too.
This isn't a finished product just yet.

He takes his physical today, I'm sure his knee will be closely diagnosed, he wont get signed until he passes this physical so right now he is unsigned...

They are putting all the chips to the middle of the table. They have a win now mentality, well on Offense. A Powerhouse. Bell is a part of that. So they will take another shot this season with Bell and hope it brings a Championship. If not, its a Fail. That's the way I feel. Bells contract has put the team in more of a hole then they were in. But it's the direction they have chosen to go. I hope it works out and a 7th Lombardi is hoisted. They will piece the defense back together and hope the additions of Bradley and Dunbar get more production, and that at least 2 draft picks can become day one contributors if not more. It's Super Bowl or Bust.

We have been saying for two years now, SB or bust, and somehow this team turns into a bust through their own making, I expect them to bust again this year either in the reg season or playoffs, they always figure out a way to implode along the way due to bad coaching and players who don't perform at a high level good enough to get to a SB....

Do I need to list players in 2 seasons that perfomed far better than they did especially at the positions they Play?
