    The infiltration of all sports by Las Vegas is disturbing. Even sports talk shows have now become primarily betting odds shows. I do not trust the NFL in this matter, the stakes are too large.

    High School football may be bigger in Texas than the NFL

    An Astroturf associate told me they were putting in a new field at a new 40,000 seats high school field

    They tore down the “old” 30,000 seat stadium

    Alumni paid for the entire stadium

    This is exactly the reason it's not rigged. Any credible allegation of game rigging would all but kill the golden goose.

    Far too difficult to rig games but refs swaying games for their own personal bets isn’t out of the realm of possibility.

    I have to imagine the NFL monitors this closely because bleedblackngold is correct, NFL has too much to lose if their credibility goes up in smoke.
