Johnson absolutely needs to be benched!!!

Belicheck benched his CB in the first half of a SB. I believe the attitude of our players and thus team in general is by far our biggest issue. That’s exactly why Tomlin teams play down to competition, play sloppy, have a lot of penalities and play with a lack of detail.

 

KP could be the next Goff but not under Tomlin. Tomlin can’t develop QB’s. He needs a veteran QB if not for the very reason of having a leader on that side of the offense.

 

Why oh why do people keep saying this. Tomlin is over 100 wins vs lesser competition compared to 40 losses. How is that always playing down to competition???? Don't just say things because You hear them. All teams lose to so called lesser competition...Example yesterday:: The so called greatest Qb(which I believe as,of right now), and HC lost to Green Bay. It happens.

 

I just see alot of sloppy games under Tomlin. Wether it is time management, challenges, penalties, poor half time adjustments, players not playing up to their potential. I get it there are alot of worse coaches out there but I just would like to see change. I guess my biggest beef with Tomlin is it takes him forever to make a change. Perhaps in the long run it is good because the loyalty to his players and coaches builds stability but man it can have an adverse effect on the team as well. It sure does make it maddening at times to watch this team.

 

It is the discipline we are missing on this team for sure. I guarantee you we would have guys on their assignments alot more. Tomlin’s way works when you have guys like Pouncey and Ward in the locker room to police the locker room and lead by example but we don’t have that.

 

I think that was the issue Brady had/has with Bill. He hurt the team and everyone's chances to win a Super Bowl. Not being a Super Bowl I would have benched for a half or a game. The rest of the team being pissed at him as well might have done wonders. It's a catch 22, send the message but at the same time you need him on the field but I still would have benched him for a game.

 

I highly doubt that was high on Brady’s list of issues with Belicheck. I doubt the players questioned Belichecks methods after all he had the most SB wins of any coach by that time. I think it was more on a personal level and probably the callous way in which Bellicheck treated him personally not to mention I think he wanted to see if he could win one away from Belicheck.
