Shame he couldn’t announce two weeks ago so they could put Flores in that position.

 

Do you think that wasn't discussed with Flores before hand? Seems like it's something Tomlin and the staff would have talked about at exit interviews.

 

IDK, could be a Jerry Maguire “show me the money” type thing. He was a backers coach for us and moved on to be a Coordinator.

Perhaps a coordinator is more desirable a position than carrying Tomlin’s coffee cup and bag of obviouslies.

I am hoping that in fact they do fill the 'slots' they may not be the same position names.....
Maybe assistant DC and Assistant OC or something of the sort.

 

Why would Flores want a figurehead position instead of a position where he calls the shots?

At any rate, good luck to Coach Mitchell in his next chapter of life. I didn’t realize he was the first black player for Bear Bryant at Alabama. Pretty cool.
