Adam Schefter reports John Fox and Denver have 'mutually' agreed to part ways.

Just watching that on NFLN. It's a shame, I like Fox and think he's a good coach. Not his fault that his QB couldn't hit the broad side of a barn yesterday. Used to be that the players had no loyalty to their team, now the team, with a few exceptions, have no loyalty to the guys who got them to where they are. Fox took 2 different teams to the SB and is now out of work. 46-18 record in Denver.

"mutually" agreed, either this to save face from being fired or is it because of his health? Remember when he missed part of last season? Whether or not Peyton is done playing, Fox might have realized he is "done" and so he didn't want to stick around to rebuild.

Two one and done's and a SB loss probably didn't help the matter. Apparently, Adam Gase, Manning, and Elway are close and they might not want to lose Gase. Maybe Fox will be our DC? He has worked here before. I highly doubt it though.

Yeah, I'd have to think he could get a head coaching job tomorrow if he wants to.

I just saw where Fox declined to interview for the Jets HC spot,

Yeah I'd say he's gonna be a HC next year.

How much you want to bet Buffalo wishes they had waited a little longer?

No matter where he goes, this Bronco blow up helps the Chargers and that can't be tolerated! At least by me!

I don't know because they paid the crap out of Rex Ryan. I really just don't see the upside for them doing that either. I also don't see the upside of the Jets hiring Marrone. The Jets had a somewhat decent defense but no qb. The Bills have a pretty good defense as well but no qb. If he couldn't win in that situation with the Jets why would they think he could win in that situation with Buffalo and vice versa ya know?

You know, I was thinking about this today. Maybe the Broncos value Adam Gase more than John Fox? Maybe they see him as the future, and didn't want to lose him to a competing team? Just a hunch I had.

In four seasons John Fox won 49 games, 4 division titles, and went to one Super Bowl. And he was fired. Im seriously wondering if John Elway isn't a regular on these boards. If they fire both coordinators, the team doctor, the strength coach, and Pat Bowlen himself, and blow everything up by trading Peyton Manning for a boat load of first round picks before the draft, I'll know for sure that he is.

Nah I think that's just the concussions talking. Some are saying Kubiak could be going back there. I hope that happens because I think the rats were pretty happy with Kubiak and I'd like to cause them a little headache.

Mind blowing sometimes! Must be something the rest of the country can't see by what the results are on the field!
