    Jr. ;)

    Check out that wingspan.

His dad was a stud. He will be also.

Bring Joey Porter Jr. To the Burgh!

No real good oline available at #1 pick so get a top corner at a position of need.

Neither could Ike Taylor. Pretty good at breaking up passes though.

Is there footage of him dropping an excessive amount of passes? He seems to not get targeted a lot and it doesn't appear that he just flat out "drops" easy plays. At least not from any of the videos of his game that I've watched. I could be wrong though. I don't watch a lot of PSU football.

Just because there aren't a lot of interceptions, doesn't mean he can't catch.

We all knew that Ike couldn't catch either. But, understand, a missed int against one of these gunslinger and they're gonna make you pay on the next play. JPJ, seem to be in position to knock passes away, rather then come up with the int. I like his physicality, but don't see many int's

Either him or Cam Smith would be stellar options. Dream scenario is still Christian Gonzalez but I have given up on him getting to Pittsburgh barring some crazy, unforeseen circumstances.

Throw in Witherspoon. I think there may be 4 CBs taken in the top 20. WR seems down this year, so the hope of six going in the first round is looking slim.

Gunslingers like Peyton Manning? Favre? Brady? I don't watch college football so, you could be absolutely correct about Porter jr. Whenever someone says a CB can't catch, I automatically think of Ike "hands of stone" Taylor. He face a couple of good gunslingers too and did pretty well. Not HOF but, pretty good. Hopefully, Porter turns out to be as good or better. Can he tackle?

The Steelers really need a CB that has the size to matchup with WRs like Jamar Chase, and Tee Higgins.

Most players get benched late in their career....it's called getting old. Anyway....He actually benched Himself.....He did a whole interview on it....He knew when the game passed Him bye..., but stayed with the team till the finish of the season. He actually walked up to Tomlin, and said......I'm done.

This was in the Bill Cowher era where Bill benched him for awhile. I liked
    Ike, he had stone hands.

yes under bill. cowher benched him for a while but ike went back to finish pretty well. 134 passes defended, 14 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles and 5 fumble recoveries, 636 tackles. my parents run into ike and his family quite a bit in orlando.

I thought we got the steal of the draft when we drafted Gerod Holliman out of Louisville in 2015. He picked off 14 passes his senior year which is still the all time single season record in NCAA history. But when he got to training camp he couldn't cover anyone and was cut before the season began. All I'm saying sometimes a lot of interceptions in college doesn't translate into the NFL.

The difference is Ike Taylor was a 4th round pick.

Trenches. Hopefully left tackle or a defensive tackle first. Then corner at 32.

I couldn't understand why we didn't draft him in the second, after all the pre-draft hype. When we got him in the seventh, I was ecstatic. Pretty sure we can go to the draft thread that year and I made my feelings known.

I've said before about CB's and I'll say it again I'd much rather have a CB who prevents the catch then one who tries for an INT and fails allowing a drive to continue or worse points to be scored. The Minkah INT in the endzone where the receiver then wrestled the ball back and got a TD. Not saying Minkah was in the wrong(but didn't like the refs call) but how different the sequence of events would have been had he knocked it to the ground. Others too have whiffed on jumping in front of the pass to get a turnover and missed. 1st priority should be prevent the completion then maybe see if you can cause the turnover.
