Shazier was reigning a lot of our guys in during the game. Grabbing them and pulling them away or getting in their face and pushing them back. All to keep them from doing anything that could hurt the team when tempers flared.

Too bad he didn't go with Joey tonight. Then again, too bad Joey can't seem to keep his cool.

Cowher and Dan Rooney together didn't put up with a lot, but I think Art and Tomlin give Joey one more chance.

Did Joey Porter really get on he Ravens bus and challenge Ray Lewis to a fight or is that just a story?

Sad sad sad......I said many times the last few games how the LB's have progressed. Man this sucks, I always like Peezy, I liked his fire but this is plain stupid. As a coach he has to be a leader and this is no way to lead. I can hope this gets handled and he learns a lesson and cleans up his act, if not then see ya..........

That would be an interesting "fight" to say the least.

I think there is a good chance the league could suspend him. I believe coaches are also under the NFL's personal conduct policy.

A distraction that is not needed plain and simple.

So frustrating. This is our best team since 2008 and the Pats are weak this year. Coaches need to be spotless.

I won't crucify him until I hear all the details, but unless there's some justification for this, I'm not against firing him after this season

Why couldn't he go home and drink? Being drunk in public is a recipe for disaster. Especially for those who have bad tempers like Porter.

I don't think this will really be much of a distraction. If he's coaching then nothing changes for the players. I don't see him being fired for this. He had an explosion it happens sometimes. He was already pumped up from the game. Really he should have never went out in the first place but I know that pretty common for players to do after home playoff games. Yeah he's a coach but hell he is only a year older than Harrison.

Oh magic 8 ball tell me the future. Are the Steelers on a Superbowl Run?

Ben is bringing the drama and Peezy has been arrested, all signs point to yes.

    WHO RIDE!!!! (In Police Cars)

Man I love Joey, but he certainly is a flawed individual. Didn't he blow all his money from his playing career and declare bankruptcy?

    Boys will be boys? :lolol:

    Peezey is who he is.

His career is full of police altercations. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets axed after the season. I love the guy's passion but he makes poor decisions.

Very true. Excerpt from article on the Steelers/Ravens rivalary

Back in 2003, an injured Joey Porter, upset that some of the Ravens' players mocked his trademark "boot kick" while he was on the sideline nursing a gunshot wound, went to the Ravens' team bus and challenged their top dog, Ray Lewis, to get off and fight. A year earlier, wide receiver Plaxico Burress and Ravens cornerback James Trapp were ejected from a game in Baltimore when Burress took exception to an aggressive play by Trapp. The play? Trapp stomped on his head while Burress was on the ground.

Ahh, right. I forgot about that.

Joey definitely has priors, though I'm not sure if any are assault related. I can think of a DUI and writing bad checks off the top of my head.
