Joe Haden and Darrell Revis Rumors

Two interesting tweets from The Fan Morning Show Host, Colin Dunlap.

Feel the need to point out that Revis gets 6 mil to just sit on his couch so the Steelers would have to at least meet that or exceed it to make it worthwhile for him to play.

 

Well, personally, I think we should go after Joe Haden, he's a great DB.

Revis, on the other hand, proved last year that he is washed up, hence why he hasn't earned a roster spot yet this year.

Maybe we can just trade Golson straight up for him?

 

It actually should be "shouldn't bring" and it would be a perfect tweet. If there actually is such a thing.

 

When they set the starting lineup next week those players will play a whole game together and gel together, cant tell a dang thing from pre season with players coming in and out like a revolving door during these games, once they become a full time unit they can become familiar with each others capabilities and establish a rhythm and I think they will be alright...........

 

I would get both if they checked out . The Jets are tanking so Revis can probably still play better than a lot of CB'S.

If Haden is Healthy he is a great CB still, so if health checks out sign him up.

If we had those 2 this D would go from weak to strong just like that . Add a ball hawk at Safety and they could be elite for a season or 2 .

I keep telling you guys any player on any other roster is going to always be better than any player we have on our roster. If I had it my way we would be trading Big Ben and our next year's first round draft pick for the guy that is back up to Aaron Rogers (and I don't even know his name)!

Simple bring them in check them out.If they clear medically and they work out well keep moving forward if they don't then don't.

 

In this case it is true .No one can say any of our DB'S have more talent than those 2 .As stated the question is can they pass a physical ? Can they pass the work out test ? How could it hurt to spend 1 day to find out ?

 

The same Browns who traded for Osweiler and now have him riding the bench for like 16 mil?

Whats more is that they're going to want a lot for him. I'm not sure the Steelers need to give up a ton for a player who hasn't been himself for a while now.

And you're 100% correct, Revis is a shell of the player he once was. I think he still has value, but that value isn't near the price tag attached to him

That's why people are panicking. Have you seen them? Our secondary vs. 2nd and 3rd stringers has looked horrible. Looks like they have got worse.
