So one article I just read went.

The that'd be about badazz to see both brothers on opposite sides rushing the passer.

We could set up a fun competition amongst bros who could get more pressures/sacks.

Hell at this point I don't even care about anything else the prospect seems to cool in my mind.

I don’t believe in home town discount, or any of that BS. But for for JJ to think playing with his two brothers would certainly be enticing.

But, he will go for the money and the Steelers won’t waste their time with that thought.

I don't think he'll go for the money at all...he's already made his money. I think he'll be more enticed by whoever he thinks between the two organizations has the best chance of getting him to a ring.

Yes, certainly a ring option. Not sure we offer either?

The guy is aging, gets hurt a lot, misses games and makes a ton of money. He’s a perfect match for this team in 2021 - he’ll fit right in with Ben, Pouncry, DeCastro and Haden.

yup injury prone and aging. We wouldn’t get the player people think we would. Plus, where would we put him? He’d be a backup.

JJ would have to make the Steelers an offer they can't refuse. That's about the only way he could ever play here.

JJ is firmly rooted into the Houston community. Anyone remember his incredibly successful fundraising efforts after the floods a few years ago? He loves the city and they love him. My guess is that retiring as a Texan is important for both him and the organization.

To make an offer they cannot refuse means somewhere in the lineage there has to be some Sicilian connection. As we all know with the fierceness of JJ and TJ, never go against a Watt, when a sack is on the line.

I find it a little amusing all these media articles portray to know more about what the Steelers should/ shouldn't do then the Steelers themselves. If there were any possible inkling of interest in JJ by the Steelers there would already be something behind the scenes that took place, And if there is no interest there probably never will be. Both of our lines OL/DL need to get younger right now.

He would need to be a situational pass rusher. He is not going to be a Steeler, unless he is accepting to a specific role with little money. He would have to put in his contract that Fichtner cannot be OC if he wants a shot at a ring. There are too many QBs better than Ben that are closer to a championship. JJ Watt would pick one of those teams.

Not interested, he's past his prime, and injury prone.

Two organizations? JJ will has 32 organizations to choose from. And If he wants a ring, I’m not sure the 2021 or 2022 Steelers are his best option for that.

He's still a leader, but nowhere near the game changer that he was...... Anyone signing him would only be signing a reputation

He can go to Tampa and play with the rest of the broken down old farts, where they retire players. ( like my maple laughs used too) become the leagues retirement home.

I would rather see Alualu retained at least for a year. Wouldn't cost a lot

Where he's going to play on the Steelers, they have Tuitt and Heyward? And where is the salary cap space coming from for his signing ?

If this fantasy happened...believe it would be Duprees spot. No more playing D line for him. ...If it happened here.
