If you were going to buy only one Steelers Jersey this season and you currently don't own a Jersey from any current players who would it be? Just for the sake of this conversation exclude Ben and Troy.

just off the 'eye test' at heinz, the most popular jerseys are big ben, polamalu, heath miller, and james harrison.

if i were to invest in an authentic jersey ($300 range), i'd want to go with a young guy looking at a long future with the team. somebody mentioned pouncey. that'd be a nice bet. wallace and brown are risky because either might not be on the roster in the next year or two. same with mendenhall. redman is no lock on a long-term stay here either. woodley and timmons are locked up for a while. they could be nice investments too.

If i were going ti spend that kinda cash on an authentic i would want one that would stand the test of time son no ben or troy im going harrison. You will always be able to rock a harrison jersey.

I'm curious of the same thing. Troy is probably the most likely on the team to "stand the test of time". Ben has the whole rapistberger scandal that every other teams fan clings to, and a lot of fans of other teams hate Harrison because of the label he's received as a dirty player.

I had a heckuva time trying to find a Pouncey jersey last summer. I would advise something interesting- like Antonio Brown.

Not doing a Brown until he signs long term. I like wallace, but he just has a Wille Parker feel to me, meaning I just get the feeling he soon will be an afterthought. Redman is good, but not jersey worthy IMO. I'm thinking Woodley or Heath. Ryan Clark or Kiesel would also be cool.

if you're thinking long-term, woodley is your best bet of those you mentioned.
