Jeremy Fowler Thinks Dak Prescott Could Be Option for Steelers in 2025

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Justin Fields will both be free agents in 2025, so if neither pan out this season, the Steelers could cut bait and there will be no harm financially.

If the Wilson-Fields experiment ends up being a disaster, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN thinks Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott could be an option for Pittsburgh in 2025.

“Yeah, I’m thinking of Pittsburgh, right? Like, Russell Wilson, he may play great, but he’s on a one-year, $1 million minimum deal, right? And Justin Fields doesn’t have his fifth-year option picked up. Maybe he’s [Dak Prescott] a long-term answer,” Fowler said recently on the This Is Football.

Unlikely but we were surprised in the past and some analyst at ESPN was right in march that the Steelers were interested in Fields and Wilson and even if many didn't believe in them, it happens so we will see for Prescott!

Im to lazy to look it up now, but on some radio show they did comparisons to when Lamb was playing and when he was out. The stats were very telling, Dakcan et you some wins, has not done so in post season, and does not elevate talent around him, seems to need talented guys to make the plays.

 

I think that Dak is still a very good QB,top 10 caliber easy but you are right....He is not of the Mahomes and even Josh Allen caliber so 55-60 millions could be too much,but it depend also of the structure of the contract
