I totally get the love for Connor, hell, if you posted anything bad about him in the GDT you got an against the rules but he is not as good as LB and he could be just another average back in the NFL. Way to early to guess either way.

Now take off those black and gold glasses. Big Ben, if not for a lucky break for us, would have thrown INT's in back to back games that cost us the game. Flag didn't save him this time.

2-3 games ago most said he was better than Bell ( or at least equal ) Now he is nowhere near his talent...

Pump the brakes people...He had a concussion, and yes, a few bad games now but...

He is basically a rookie, with a huge dropoff in talent to the backup ( unlike what LB had ) So, He has no known veteran with talent, to spell him with, when he's having a bad game...

Conner is a good back, with a chance to improve yet...And,With the years LB has in the league, draft position, salary...

    Shouldn't he be a LOT better...But he isn't...imo

Because bell isnt playing and wont be playing this yr. I do believe next yr for whom ever he suits up for he will go out and produce like the elite talent he is but I cant speak on players not playing right now in terms of this yr. I spoke on him all those months because I thought he owild show up but he didnt. And that is why he will make the pro bowl because of his story. He has not been better than Ab this yr yet he has more votes than Ab. Leveon last yr didnt have more votes than AB. This is sticritly because of the situation. He probably still would have made it looking around at the AFC as gordon and hunt are the only other top RBS who have been healthy out of the AFC. Also leveon was first team all pro. I will bet my life that conner will not be all pro at all this season.

It's not like the Steelers were a better team with Bell in prior years. The same issues that cost the Steelers games when Bell was here are still present.

Conner is still third in the league in rushing even after a couple of off weeks. Based on the numbers right now, he is a Pro Bowl player on merit.

I do like how you are trying to shift the goalposts to All-Pro. Seriously, you're going to hurt your back the way you carry those things all over the place.

It just seem to me that, as soon as, connors found out that bell wasn't coming back ... that he relaxed and haven't been playing with that edge.

Thank you for making that point. Jordan howard in 2016 was 2nd in the nfl in rushing AND DIDNT MAKE THE PRO BOWL ORGINALLY and only made it as an injury replacement to david johnson. So sorry per your logic that's not a pro bowler on merit. It's more to it than just stats. But that's what all the guys here try to use to justify every situation but they only do it when it fits their argument. My point about the pro bowl with him is all the idiots like you knees, back, and throats are all hurting with the way you are clobbering over this guy just because of your distain for bell and what he did. It's no argument you can make as to why he's more deserving of being a pro bowler over AB yet he has more votes. It's sad. Like I said people here said he was better than Zeke, saquon, and other top RBS which is a laughable take.

How many nfl seasons did Zeke play his rookie yr as the feature back when he led the nfl in rushing?

What does Bells not playing have to do with it. JC is putting up better numbers than Bell did when he made the pro bowl last season. Thats all there is to it, stop trying to muddy the waters.

JC is having a great year, absolutely deserves more votes than AB who is having a down year by his standards.

You know who didn't fumble? Gale Sayers. You know who fumbled a lot? Tiki Barber.........until they taught him not to. Conner's a young guy. Don't write him off so soon.

Do you even comprehend the irony in a post that once again demonstrates your inability to spell and your inability to string together multiple coherent sentences while calling other people idiots?

Silly us, using statistics to back up our arguments. I know facts present a problem for you. Who said Conner was better than Elliott and Barkley? I certainly didn't.

I would ask that you try taking the ad hominem attacks and strawman arguments out of your posts, but then you wouldn't have anything left.

That one player who was second in the league in rushing two years ago and wasn't voted in is not evidence that Conner doesn't belong. We can all cherry-pick data and misuse outliers in such a manner. That doesn't make our arguments correct, though at least mine wouldn't induce headaches in people who actually prefer the proper version of the English language.

Using double standards. Ab is tied for the lead in TDs. He of course hasnt had his best yr but other than tyreek he has been better than every other wr in the AFC and it's funny how after all the great seasons ab has had they are just now double teaming him. I wonder what change was made this yr that they didnt double team him in years prior. Hm.... Hes not having a great year. Zeke and Gurley are having great years. Kamara Is having a great year. Hes a having just a good year. And bell not playing has a lot to do with it because well he isnt playing. And bell made the pro bowl for more reasons than what his numbers looked like. I'm not a guy who basis everything off numbers.

Am I getting paid for this? And again I'm trying to figure out who you are? You're still unknown and just someone I use as source of entertainment so therefore I dont care how my English comes across. I feel bad for someone who feels they have to correctly present themselves as boy wonder on a anonymous message board about sports. When the time is needed I know how to articulate and elocute myself in a intelligent manner. Here is not the place for it. I most of time am quickly typing on a broken phone so therefore a lot of my words getting jumbled and mixed. I'm not taking the time to proofread either.. anyways you once again backtrack on a claim of yours once its shot down. I clearly stated I dont just look at stats just like most who know the game dont. A guy's impact isnt always told by the stats as their are several variables that goes into stats. I'm pretty sure I can pull up more guys who had good stats and werent pro bowlers. He was just the first 1 that came to my mind at the moment. But your attack off "Seriously, you're going to hurt your back the way you carry those things all over the place" was so credible and worthy. Lol sure.

About AB being double teamed, did you just start watching Steelers games this year? AB has been double teamed since our last playoff win in Cincy if not before.

None of those were the word you left out. It was bad enough when your posts lacked only logic or a reasonable facsimile to the conventions of English. Now you have added crass personal insults to your repertoire of failure.

Also, where did I make excuses for Conner? I've been ripping him for the fumble. Other posters keep making up fiction about some great play the Broncos made on that play. It didn't happen. Conner fumbled while being hit to the lower body.

I'm sorry. Should I start using smaller words so you can keep up?

Using the proper conventions of English adds to credibility, which you sorely lack. Now you want to blame a broken phone for your broken attempts at English? You have heard that it is poor craftsmen who blame their tools, right?

It's nice that you managed to look up a couple of big words to try to prop yourself up. Here's the thing. I don't need to proofread to write coherently. You clearly do. When grading papers, I take more points off if the errors make the writing unclear, as they often do in your case.

I'm not presenting myself as anybody here. I'm just doing a far better job than you are of presenting myself.

And the quip about you moving the goalposts was well-earned. That is exactly what you were doing when you switched the argument from Pro Bowl to All-Pro. If you don't like being called out for your use of such tactics, don't employ them.

Double standards only in your mind kid.

JC has 11 TD's too. Its his first full season as a starter, he's clearly having a great year and on par with all the RB's you listed previously.

AB wasn't being double teamed prior to this year? Please, stop embarrassing yourself.

Whaaa? That "flag that saved the game ending INT" *was* the reason for the INT. Can't have it both ways.
