Sure, the likes of Ezekiel Elliot and SaQuon Barkley will likely change this in due time. However, Mike Shannahan ultimately proved that the position is not as coveted as others make it out to be. It is not really that complicated.


The whole "Terrell Davis" counterpoint ends up defeating itself due to the era in which he played. Game is not like that anymore. It is a passing league now.

 

I was happy when we drafted my NC State RB Samuels. He is going to a solid RB for us and help us forget Bell. Connor Samuel's one two punch will be a great rushing attack.
