Most of those yards came when the game was already decided, the 49ers were passing the whole second half you're not going to shut a team down for 4 qtrs.

Jarvis Jones has shown improvement but the stat line doesn't really show it. On one drive in the second quarter he's giving the LT so much trouble the guard has to slide over and help allowing a clear lane for Heyward and Shazier to get a sack. Just watch the play at 5:30 in the fourth quarter. The LT Stanley takes a step back in anticipation before the ball is snapped and Jones still bulls his way through him. Kaperneck's mobility was the only thing that kept him from getting sacked by jones, any less mobile qb would have ate the turf. He definitely looks stronger out there.

What happened to Harrison is supposed to only play 25 snaps a game? Now he's playing double that amount, they need to get Jarvis more snaps to figure out how good he can be.

JJ had a good game against the niners. He was causing problems for them allowing Shazam and Heyward to cause even bigger problems. If that's average play I'll take it. I just want him to keep it up and get even better.

Dupree should be getting a lot of praise. He is eons ahead of where JJ was at this point in his career. As for JJ himself, at this point of his career (year 3), I would want to see him more than just average, considering he was a highly touted first round pick. Regardless of the injuries, he should be much more dominate that he is. He is definitely getting better, but how many years before he is actually consistently dominate?

I'm not down on JJ at all as I think he's doing fine this year and looked good last year before he went down, but you are right about Dupree. The guy has impressed me so far and it appears he's impressed the coaches too because he's already getting more playtime than I ever thought he would get this early on.

Rams have Greg Robinson (LT) and Rob Havenstein (RT) as their starting tackles, two big, powerful guys who are more run blockers than pass protectors. I don't think this is the game for our OLB's to be practicing their bull rushes! Will be interesting to see how Jarvis does against pure power after facing off against two of the more finesse LT's in the league in Solder and Staley.
