Im listening to 93.7 and Colin Dunlap is bringing up a good point. Why is Ryan Switzer getting more targets then James Washington

Pretty simple. They’ve been trying for years to get the small shifty guy on offense. They even drafted a couple guys that didn’t work out. Chris Rainey comes to mind.

Why tho.. If it's not working then why keep doing it.. They don't have Brady so if there trying to be the patriots that's not gonna work

Your guess is as good as mine as to why they do some of the things they do.

I posted the same thing in another thread, Switzer had like 7 catches he only gained like 32 yards on catches.

Now this topic is the very least of there worries for fixing this team. But it's definitely interesting

If the case to made for a small, shifty receiver in Ryan Switzer was to be another major benefit for the offense, then why was James Washington selected in the second round?

For that matter, why isn't James being used more in deep passes? Wasn't he supposed to replace Martavis Bryant

Everyone keeps talking about losing Bell but, we also don't have Bryant as a deep threat anymore. He may not have been highly productive or a great WR, but he was definitely a deep threat defenses had to account for.. Helped give Brown some space. Bell being such a passing threat short, Bryant deep.. Now we don't have either and the receivers aren't creating separation consistently like they used to.

There are lots of problems. This isn't one of them.

yup. Brown constantly double teamed but finds ways to get separation.

Ben misses, feels he owes brown, forces the throw and you know the rest.

Maybe he just isn't very good. Yet, I hope.
