Did Ben and Washington get much time together in training camp?

Just watching the replay on youtube. Playing Lambau second game and the game is not too big for him at all.

Rare, he's going to be a beast.

He’s been a star and a beast for the last four years! You’re only just catching up. His freshman year in Stillwater, he tied the team record for TDs by a freshman with six. The other freshman with six? Dez Bryant.

I'm aware of his college play and he was my fav pic in our draft. I'm talking the NFL and that's a whole different ball game. During the exhibition he's playing as if he's been out there or years is what I was saying. I was glad we got him

I’m just good naturedly picking on you. I knew what you meant, but I’m blown away by a lot of fans who are acting like he just dropped out of the sky. Oklahoma State receivers have won three of the eight Belitnikoff Tropies that have been awarded this decade. James has been a humble superstar for some time.

I was hoping this guy actually.

But all the good one's were taken by the time we drafted.

Me too and I think he would have been the pick if he was still there.

I never heard of Washington in college and had no idea who he was when we drafted him.

But the bus came by, so I’m getting on.

I'll be watching the development of Reid and Bates out of curiosity

Essentially being named the starter no less.

However, I do not think Bates would have improved the run defense the way Terrell has by filling in the alleys.

What James Washington is doing currently is not surprising me in the least. He was the best receiver coming out of the draft when it came to contesting catches; something the Steelers have placed more emphasis on.

Add his unusual but effective second gear on his deep speed, ball tracking and blocking and the results ultimatley speak for themselves.

Liked this pick then. Now however, I love it. Let us hope he continues to break his limits in order for the Steelers to ascend to the Stairway.
