I really like JW also as does 90% of the people on this board. They need to sit down with JW
and see (outline his role) and see if they come to a mutual agreement. He is no different
than any other american, he feels he may have to move on to get where he thinks he needs to be.
With Juju likely to move on JW could still be the #3 next year. I hope we do not trade him, and if we do it better be for something.

depends on the newbies making some noise. who fits the new offense better, that is the question. i happen to like JW, but he has never separated himself from the pack. he's a poor mans juju. that's not a bad thing but we seem to be looking for a more DJ type guy. ray ray has some of that quickness that JW just doesn't. i can see his point of wanting more field time but we just don't have the luxury of that in this system they are working on. i'd hate to see him go though.

Oh my goodness man, you must be watching some other team and not the Steelers.
Most teams would jump for joy if they had the stable of WR on their roster that the Steelers can trot out.

We don't have a bona fide no.1 but we have good,solid,WR's...And our 4 deep is what makes us tough imo

Stable? Our WR group is average. No DC is scared of them. Not trying to be a d**k bet that’s reality.

I don't see the point of trading him unless like Blast said some team throws a crazy offer. A 2nd would be enticing.

It's his last year under contract. A UFA next season.

He makes clutch catches for sure. Bringing Juju back to me wasn't warranted.

Now their is a crowded house of pass catchers and a running game now in the spotlight.

Claypool will give DC nightmares. I see a major breakout this season.

I'm not sure Washington is exactly that, but Seven4Steel disagreed with you, so you must be on to something.

The Steelers 4 top WRs had at least 5 TDs last season, Ebron did too.

Washington has checked out this year worried about millions of $$$. Yeah it's a contract year but he hasn't cracked the starting lineup & wants to be paid...good grief Charlie Brown.

    ???
He’s not asking to be paid, he’s asking for chances to prove how much he can do for a team.

Easy to do when you give up on the run game after 5 games.

He's worried about next year Clive, hence wanting traded so he has something for his agent. Why can't he stfu & learn from the guys taking his spot as a #2 and #3? If he has the skills someone will offer him a contract next year but patience is lacking with our future leaders.

For some reason I seem to have blacked out on JW last season, where he caught a lot of shorter stuff. 2019 he was targeted deep a lot more.

I don't dislike him, but if he ain't happy and they can get a 4th round pick I'd make the move.

Nobody is saying Johnson is on Brown's level. Everyone who actually knows what they are talking about is saying that Johnson is better than Washington. It really isn't close.

If You could guarantee a upgraded O-Line man in a position of need ...Fine ...I would go with that, but How likely is that. Otherwise keep him. When You looking 2 trade a player it gets around fast. They know this so usually You don't just get 2 take a pick at what You want.

Actually, saying that DJ is one of the top receivers at getting separation IS putting him on AB's level. But keep trying. It's fun to watch you fail.

Last year DJ and AB were both tied with 3.2 seconds of separation. 2019 DJ averaged 3.6 seconds, I think he lost a little something worrying too much about drops. We’ll see where he ends up this season.

Washington averages 2.3, down near the bottom of players being able to get open.

Laughing at you means you're under my skin? At least you root for the right team. Who cares if you don't really understand much of what you are seeing?
