Maybe, but I'm always skeptical of athletes and politicians that declare how much they miss the time fro their families.

as far as mising the kids lives growing up as they play football. Ok, but he still gets 6 months every yr to spend all the time he wants with them. I spent about 50-70% of my time on the road for work all year round, when my kids we growing up. He's got a better deal than a lot of others.

But hey, if he's really a committed family man, and hasn't puddled away his $, and he wants to stay home, and not get beat up again. Good for him. Just don't be shocked if he plays somewhere.

James and for that matter Troy and Kiesel can retire where they want as they have earned it. I do hope however they retire in our uniform for my own self desires.

 

James' two sons are more important. He isn't going anywhere and that you can put in the bank. He'll play here one more year.....maybe.... or he'll retire. He won't leave those kids again!!!

Havent we heard all this from JH already? Im done I want to spend time with my kids. A few of our LBs go down we call JH offer him a few bucks BANG hes in camp. Hes a football player. They cant turn it off. Just one more year. Thats the mind set. Play until nobody asks you to play anymore.

Do I blame him? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I played in HS.Loved it. But did not have near the talent to play at the next level.Id love to put the pads on one more time. Play just one more game.

Its in a football players DNA. Play until nobody asks you to play.Than you know you are done.
