I think he's saying that James will wanna play for a team that we are playing so he can play against us.

He isn't going to pick a team just because they play us this year. It isn't like he is going to have his pick of 31 teams to play for.

When players get cut for cap space they will go to any team that gives them the best deal; JH doesnt owe any loyalty to the steelers, they severed their loyalty to him first, so he owes them none in return: If a company in the private sector fires you over a pay scale, are you going to turn down a job with a rival competing company out of loyalty, of course not, JH will go to the highest bidder regardless of what division or conference they reside in. Joey Porter didnt want to play somewhere else when he was cut over cap space either, but he did. I wish JH the best of luck no matter which team he lands with...It's about business now for him, not loyalty....

You're missing my point. Harrison is not going to pick a team based on them playing the Steelers this season.

Yes he should. Joey P was asked or considered by the Bungals. He said no way he was wearing those silly stripes. Sounds to me like JH is upset at the Steelers. I loved the guy on the team as much as the next guy but GREED is really starting to affect the game. Thats all they are concerned about now, the money.

Like greed isnt rampant in everything in this country, you telling me no one wants more money? You wouldnt want a pay raise? How many CEOs under contract would take a pay cut???

For the 1 millionth time, it WAS his agent who said it. Please provide a link with a quote from Harrison himself saying he has a "desire" to play for the Ravens.

Please give me a link of Porter saying that before he signed with the Dolphins.

In fact it was down to Miami and Cincinnati in the spring of 2007 when the Steelers released him. Not only that, but he had considered Dallas, Baltimore and Cleveland too.

WHO FRIKKEN CARES! He was signed with us for 2 more years and we broke his contract! :facepalm:He will play for anyone that puts that money into his checking account and wont look back. I'm sure he feels a little betrayed, he did what was asked of him and a little more.

Loved James as a steeler, and i'll continue to root for him where ever he lands, unless he's playing against us. He was a work horse and represented the steelers well. But I dont care where he goes, and honestly I dont think he does at this point either. The man just wants an opportunity to play, and you cant blame him for that. But we all want to live in the past, and not look into the future. And the future was bleak for us because he was not willing to renegotiate, and we couldnt hurt our cap this year and next for a 35 year old OLB. I hope he has an MVP type season somewhere else, I really do. As much as we hate to see someone we cheered for in another uniform, it has to happen. And I promise it will happen again and again. But in 2-3 years, James will find is way home and sign that 1 day contract so he can go out a steeler.

Maybe I'm wrong but I was at the gym and thought I saw a rumor on the boob tube that JH was going to sign with Houston.

James refused to meet the President of the United States to be congratulated for winning the Super Bowl. That kind of nasty doesn't grow on trees, that kind of nasty is special. He was a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan and has reserved some of the most brutal hits I've ever seen in my life just for them. Not expecting some extra special nasty would be like thinking "Rambo was in the military so he might go nice on the same guys now against him. Difference being, Rambo was fiction- Silverback is real. I'm not a psychologist but I did stay in a holiday inn express before and If he has a beef with us it could be real bad.

That's James and his agent trying to get as many teams as possible interested in him to get them in a bidding war. The Ravens would be better off keeping Kruger than a washed up Harrison. If he goes to Cleveland it's all about the money for him he's from Ohio but they aren't winning anything soon.
