If we lose an OLB to injury the rest of the season then what ?

Hilarious part is he’s better then Bud Dupree at 37 years old

Could be they released him so he can have a shot at playing for a contender. Upon his request.

Every week folks are scratches healthy or not... I think he ain't been too hurt to play, but it's respectful to just say "player A is hurt" as to why he isn't getting a hat. I don't believe James wouldve dropped his little nugget on not playing if he was truly injured. Again, just my opinion.

Not in coverage anymore, that's the problem ultimately. Unfortunately our LB's stats aren't where were used too because they are asked to drop into coverage more so than ever these days.

I can’t disagree. Though I’ve heard them say someone is a “healthy scratch” for games. I’ve heard on Steelers Nation Radio say that he was limited because of injury. How limited I’m not sure. They also differentiate when a player misses practice for “personal” reasons.

That's a good question. We could have an injury Monday that changes things?

He was playing for a contender. I have to wonder if his pouting about playing time factored at all in this decision?

But while I'd dig it, who's out to make room?

    Back to square 1.

MB was benched for spreading discontent. Not saying it’s improbable, I just doubt it.

I’d love to see him get a pick six in the Super Bowl. Though it would have to be the 20 yard variety, lol

You too bussie? Does anyone think the old man can't come off the edge and wreck house anymore?

Hell yeah I'm optimistic he can. Not too optimistic he'll be here to do it though

Not a whiskey night unfortunately, but a code word for light beer? Perhaps!!! Hahahahahaha

P.S. I prefer Elijah Craig. You know, if you're playing Santa and all.

Spence is starting. Harrison isn't even seeing the field. That is a no-brainer.

    McCullers is depth up front.

I don't think he had much choice about the counseling. He avoided jail because she chose to let it go. His public persona is a good one and that's wonderful, but he's still a very large man with a history of violent off-field behavior, including assaulting the mother of his child.

The Steelers are doing what they need to do in pursuit of a Super Bowl. The only responsibility they have is to cut the player they they think they need the least.

Why not? I knew the outpouring of support he would get, which has little to do with the player he is right now. I knew we'd be hearing about how unfair this is and what a wonderful person Harrison has shown himself to be. Well, if we're going to talk about what the guy deserves, that needs to be part of the discussion.

Gilbert started all 16 games in 2015 and 13 in 2016. He is clearly far more useful to the Steelers at this point than Harrison, but even if you want to go there, please get the details right.
