Bud Dupree: "I don't want the media to portray that we are the reason he left, the Steelers are the reason we left. That isn't the reason. He chose to leave." When asked if Harrison was a mentor (giggles and walks away from the interview shouting 'they asked if he was a mentor!')

I spurts...yes. But to the degree that James Harrison would want? Hell no.

I'd welcome him back if he wanted to come back. Not as a starter. He's not good enough for that anymore.

That was my whole thing too. Shazier is in the hospital. That type of stuff is suppose to bring you closer and Harrison won't even visit him!!? He is your typical meathead.

I wonder how long before we hear about his kids getting harassed at school? I'll bet someone dumps some trash in his yard.(Tommy Maddox)

I'm not suggesting someone do it, but you know it's coming. Plus he's in New England what's he gonna do?

What's going to be funny is when the Steelers win the Super Bowl and Harrison will miss out on his chance to get a ring :hehehe:.

Wow. I reserve the right to change my opinion the more this story unfolds.

Not helping the young players? Dick move James, dick move.

No, apples and oranges here - it's one thing if you want to play, but are respectful about it, and when the time is right, go on your way. Don't go bringing a recliner into defensive strategy meetings and snore while the LB's coach is trying to work out plays with your starters.

Oh, and making it seem like you have an injury, then showing boasting videos on social media of you lifting houses on the same day. Sigh.

Hope that door didn't hit you on the way out, James.

I agree it would be different if it were the Ravens or Bengals again but the hated Pats not cool. Especially for 59k that’s playing for free in the NFL. I hope we play them in the AFC Championship game and he’s out there getting pushed around.

Wow. I stated earlier that I had a gut feeling that Harrison and Porter were at odds. But DANG! I didn't realize it went to this extent. He seemed to be at odds with everybody, nobody on the team is coming to his defense and no one seems t respect him which is sad. This may be an overused cliche, but I'd say Harrison was becoming a cancer in the locker room.

Did I read that his wife is a prominent Pittsburgh attorney? Not condoning or encouraging bad behavior, but his decision to sign with the Cheatriots for peanuts doesn't seem to be a decision in his family's best interest. Just another douchebag, selfish move on his part done for no other reason than to stick it to the Steelers organization.

IDK, Dupree laughing at the thought JH was a mentor....pump the breaks, we might not like him now, but that's the franchise sack leader you're talking about.

I hope they move to Boston and never comeback. Should be fun raising his kids in the most racist city in the US.

JH is old and he is not coming back. I doubt he will be playing much in NE. I think they got him just to pump him for info mostly.

I think our relationship with him changed the first time he left for the Bungles. It`s all business. If he was smart he would have retired when Tomlin said they needed his spot. The least he could have done was not sign with the hated Cheats. I think he went from a man who would never pay for a meal in Pittsburgh to the proverbial "man without a country."

Fans have no right to be mad at JH because he wants to play before he retire. We wouldn't play him so he had to make a business decision. Yea he was getting paid for doing nothing but we were basically screwing him over. Now if he's the reason the Patriots knock us off again then I'm not happy. Otherwise I'm not offended at all, it's a business decision...
