Being that you can get similar production from multiple players Bell is the norm. Now, is AP the anomaly or the norm?

What do you have on your resume that allows you to question the knowledge of the people here? You've made some claims about your own experience, but those are just empty claims by an anonymous poster on a message board. They are meaningless. Any claims the rest of us make about our history is just as dubious.

The way to show knowledge on a message board is to make coherent arguments that are well supported by facts. It also helps if you have something close to mastery of the conventions of the English language and an ability to state your points clearly. Your struggles in those areas are part of where you lose your credibility.

Elite athletes know what it took for them to be successful. That does not mean they know how to evaluate others. That is a big part of why you've seen former superstars fail as managers in baseball or head coaches in football. Mike Tomlin was not a great football player, but he has been a successful NFL coach. Chuck Noll was a decent player, one who never would have gotten into Canton without buying a ticket, but he was a brilliant head coach. Bill Belichick wasn't much of a player. He is arguably the best coach of all time.

I've seen enough of your posts to say there are plenty of folks here who qualify as a football aficionado well before you.

Just because Petersen did something at 30 doesn't mean Bell can do it. Those experts you love to cite considered his accomplishment freakish and shocking. Your entire argument would then be that Bell can do something freakish and shocking if he was to match Peterson. You are also forgetting that Petersen only had that one elite season. He has not been close to that level since.

I figured it had something to do with cigars. My neighbor gets this magazine, the mailman puts it in my mailbox once in a while by mistake.

You are right. I am now using 6 games and Connor is seriously trending upwards. Today Att 19, Yds 111, Avg 5.8 total yds 129 and two TDs (should have been 3 TDs) Season yardage is 710 that is 118 yards per game with 7 TDs. His total yards projection is 1,888. Who needs to pay Bell $70-100 million? Not the Steelers!

That sample size should be hitting 1000 yards by week 9. LOL. At this point people will still be talking about how Bells better while they are watching JC start the Pro Bowl.
