It's not even about how many rushing yards he gets, but in pass protection because the Ravens are a blitz heavy team, also Ben may have to dump off passes to him because the Ravens are good in coverage.

Conner has been flying under the radar this year. One of the most underrated Steelers.

Glad you clarified because Steelers typically suck at the rush against the Ratbirds. But agree with the pass protection and maybe screen passes if there's even time for those.

We need to run that diamond formation more often where we block before the pass is caught.

I’d try the wildcat a couple of times here. Line Ben up on the outside to confuse them, no Ravens DB has the physicality to match up with a guy that size.

Ben needs to throw at least 1 deep ball every drive. Without 500 yards passing, we can't win this.

Forget everything I've said up to this point. I'm on board with this strategy.

The team is always looking for a back who can beat off defenders. :hehehe:

First bubble screen I see to Claypool better work or I'll puke.

The very reason we really needed to keep Switzer for this game.

The Steelers running the wildcat worked out great last year...for the Ravens.

That’s why they’d never expect it again and won’t be prepared. It’d be like a free score!

When Ben throws the ball to the covered receivers , while their backs are still turned to him. He needs to aim the ball to the inside part of their helmets so it'll deflect out of bounds., instead of deflecting upwards for the INT.

If JC30 runs the ball well and we get some long T.O.P drives like they did vs the Titans that will be huge. But on offense I would like to see Claypool get more opportunities and on defense if we can limit some RZ drives to FGs then I think that will be the biggest key.

You're thinking of something 'Old Tomlin' would do. Luckily, the current Tomlin has represented himself (so far) as 'New and Improved Tomlin'.:flag:

In the 2018 season Bell held out, and Conner and Steelers went down to Baltimore and Conner ran all over them that day.

Hopefully he can do that again Sunday.

Every other post in this thread is green. Mine has the most realism. But after I typed it, I thought, no way can this be green.
