We don't even know how this year will go. There are no elite teams this year so far. A almost 40% success rate for the underdogs this year in every game shows this.

Losing to the Braves, Sid Bream in '92 was almost as bad as the loss to Chargers in AFCCG of '94 season. The drummer in my band at the time was a lifetime Braves fan. Our band was playing at local sports bar and Pirates lost that game about an hour before we started playing. It was a long night of pure smack against the Pirates... and how great the Braves were.

I liked the Braves growing up in the 1980's. Before that game, I rooted for them to win unless they were playing the Pirates. In the 80's... Braves were always on TBS. Dale Murphy, Phil Neikro, Chris Chambliss, Rafael Ramirez, Claudell Washington, Glenn Hubbard, etc. After the Sid Bream loss.... I've hated the Braves with a passion ever since. Was pissed when they won the World Series in mid 90's.

I know exactly what it means. I'm using it in a broader terms of how people will believe anything that has been said, if it has a grain of what they want to believe. As in conspiracy theories.
People that don't want the coaches are prone to believe anything that will place them under a bad light, whether it's true , or not, and dismiss the good, or the reality of the situation. Like flat earthers.

So again, this isn't about the Bengals. It is about how often opposing players from opposing teams have said the same quote over and over. Hell, even the local media has said so in Pittsburgh.

Nah, some of you fans fall for the same crap after a loss. The Steelers could do the same every time they beat a division rival but they choose not to.

almost half of the league make the playoffs every year now....So many mediocre teams in the NFL and the steelers are one of them since several years now

The win vs Jets and Pats were not very impressive too.

The Eagles haven't blown out any team in their five wins this season, you're worried about style points who gives a crap just win the game. The Pats are in first place and beat the Bills in Buffalo that's a good road win for the Steelers.

The Steelers were awful in the game against the Pats....The Pats knew the Steelers' plays in that game, but the problem was, the Pats were a fumble machine team in that game. Both teams didn't deserve to win this game; it was an awful game for both teams.

The Eagles are struggling big time on offense right now. Their game against the Vikings was better, but if the Eagles start struggling on offense again, they're very vulnerable....Right now, the Bucs, Rams, Seahawks, Lions, and maybe the Packers are better than the Eagles in the NFC.

If the record were everything, that would mean the 4-3 Panthers are equivalent to the Chiefs right now.

If Vrabel knew maybe he should've won the game , his team choked by turning the ball over 5 times caused by the Steelers defense. BTW Vrabel still doesn't have a win against Tomlin, maybe he should study the Steelers defense some more since he knows them so well .

I agree that it was a major choke job in this game by the pats,no team deserved to win in this game....The steelers were outplayed in that game and the pats were a fumble machine like crazy

For the head to head record,it don't mean much....Tomlin never beat Lovie Smith or Jon Gruden

Head to head record does mean something when some fans on here love to talk about great Vrabel is and he's a better HC, the Steelers did deserve to win against New England because they made less mistakes.

The Titans are 4-20 after firing Vrabel while he has the Patriots 5-2 and in first place. They are a really good team that will be a tough out in the playoffs.
