Weakened division?! Not to say the NFC East will become the best division in Football but to say that said division is weak is unfair. A team that is flying under the radar a bit in the NFL is the Washington Redskins. Assuming Chase Young explodes onto the scene the same way Nick Bosa did, Washington is going to be a surprise team in the NFC Conference and perhaps the NFL as a whole.

Nick Bosa was the final piece to that 49ers defense to help lift them over the top. Granted, Washington has some pieces to fill out before even getting that close. However, that does not mean the Redskins will not improve at all on that side of the ball.

The biggest question mark still remains the New York Giants. Even with the addition of Andrew Thomas, who I believe to be the best Offensive Tackle of his class, how good Daniel Jones will be?! Will SaQuon bounce back?! What about that defense?!

Weakened compared to what it was 3-4 years ago when the Giants had a chance aql. They fell pretty far in their current rebuild. Seriously, when was the last time the Redskins were not "flying under the radar?" RG3's rookie season? The Eagles & Cowgirls have at least 2 more years of a gravy schedule because of the current state of their division.

I like your take on Washington, they may have a bit to go yet but I must say they had a very good draft last year and if Young is a transcendent talent like you say then they have a major foundational piece now to play opposite Montez Sweat for the next decade. The big question is around Haskins and how good he is, if he is a franchise QB then watch out. Rivera is an upgrade in the HC room as well imo.

I like the Eagles roster but they are snakebitten with injuries each and every year without fail. They just lost Brooks for the entire year before camp even starts, crazy bad luck. Wentz always struggles to stay healthy as well, I really like him when he is healthy though.

Giants roster is poor / bang average imo. No star quality at the skill positions really apart from Saquan and maybe Slayton if he continues where he left off last season, what a tremendous pick he was in the fifth. It looks like their first round corner from 2019 Deandre Baker May be looking at jail time after an armed robbery! They’ll win a few games but not contenders for me. I am not a fan of Gettleman and what he has done with that roster but we’ll see, he has place a high value on linemen and drafted heavily there in recent seasons. Perhaps it will pay off eventually.

I think Dallas could win that Division but they are a bit off being a Super Bowl roster. Adams would help them a lot but will not fix all their issues on defence, I don’t think the offence is good enough to carry their leaky secondary all the way personally. They need Elliot to start earning that second contract this year, I think that deal was a big mistake as much as I like him as a player.

As stated before, the Redskins are a team under the proverbial radar because of Chase Young. Believe it or not, Washington's own Defensive Line is near identical to what San Francisco had a season ago. All that remains is that player that can transform this defense.

Chase Young appears to be that player. Time will tell if he is. Should he be though, the Redskins, while likely not a playoff contender, will generate some noise.

Washington has won the NFCLEAST 3 times under Synder in the last 20 years.
    1999- Synders 1st year
2012- RGlll rookie year under run happy Shanahan (a shorter lived Lamar)
2015- Cousins salvages the season finishing 9-7, bounced in the wildcard game

Yeah, their not due again until after 2021.

    Nope.

I would bet on Washington playing spoiler to either Philly or Dallas though depending on how that Division Race goes. For that matter, playing spoiler to the new 7th Seed is not out of the equation here either.

Was listening to the PFF podcast this evening and they went through the teams that make sense for Adams. Most of the ones he or his agent put out probably can’t make a move due to cap reasons. Dallas who are the front runners in many people’s eyes do not have the cap space to go after Adams as already flagged in this thread. They could potentially do it and worry about how they’ll pay him later but it would be bad business.

The two franchises that they thought made sense from a roster and cap perspective were Seattle and Tampa Bay. The Colts have the cap room but they have always stated that they want high character team players and no prima donnas so doubtful they go after him. Browns also have the cap room for now but they are going to get squeezed very soon and doubtful that Adams would want to go there.

Ultimately I wonder if any team will give up enough for the Jets liking. Jamaal Adams might be stuck in New York with no choice but to swallow his pride and suit up for the Jets in 2020.

Yeah Washington are always trash and the giants are just not good right now. On paper Dallas are the front runners and eagles are right behind. Then again they had a good roster and went 8-8

Dak Prescott is the issue currently. Will he show enough to be an actual Franchise QB come 2020?! I am skeptical of the fact.

Signed with Seattle for a lot lol.

Seattle gave up two first rounders and a third plus one of their own safeties and got Adams and a 4th round pick
