Yes, Frank Pollard is a very good comparison.

Did Connor not go through a spell where he was dropping the ball.

Didn't he have issues with fumbles, too?

Pollard was taller. He also played 40 years ago. He was drafted in 1980. Players are a little bigger now, so relative to the others on the field, Pollard was bigger guy than Warren. He was more of a straight-ahead runner like Warren, which made sense because so many of his carries came on quick inside traps.

I sort of do because we're into our 7th week and he is not on IR.

The way he hits the hole and is decisive reminds me of Marcus Allen

I am afraid Jalen isn't in Marcus's league.

Agreed with the Foster comparison, he doesn't hesitate and is fast, would like to see him catch a few downfield passes.

as a side note; I think Najee is a victim of the poor offensive scheme. We have the potential of a great 1-2 punch if we had a coordinator that can coordinate at the NFL level. Rooney's need to get serious about their assistants for a change and spend some money.

    Reminds me of Jaylen Warren.

And Najee isn’t a bust he’s hurt. From the first game his usage has been down from last season, and just so happens he re-injured his foot that game. Hmm, think there is a connection :hmm:

Only question is why the heck is Tomlin screwing around with this, not the injury you want to take chances with. IR him and maybe you’ll have him back for the end of the season depending on what grade Lisfranc it is.

True I just said the way he runs reminded me of him. Didn't indicate he is in his league. Just looking at how fast he hits the hole and he has good vision.

He has a long way to go but at this point he is outplaying Harris as far as i'm concerned.
