You know I was looking at these two yesterday and said the same thing. Committment is lacking in these two. Their upper body's are street size?
Unacceptable for people getting paid boatloads of money. Especially at the positions these 2 play.

More true of JJ than Shazier surely. They drafted Shazier for his speed, not sure they'd want him to bulk up.

If you can't shed blocks, speed will not do anything for you. You have to be strong enough to shed blocks.Especially at the positions these 2 play at.

I think it's early days with Shazier anyway as he's been out so much and I do think they want to utilize his speed and get him playing in space when he stays healthy, it's around the weight Timmons has played the Mack at isn't it? Can't disagree at all on Jones though. From interviews I'm sure he said he wasn't asked to gain any weight/power last off-season, I think that was a mistake, one I hope they rectify this year or that's gonna be a wasted 1st rounder.

Thought I read somewhere when he signed up for the season that his body was hurting but that he would give it one more year. So I don't think JH plans to go one more, he could be convinced though I suppose...

Loved seeing him perform like that, especially after everything he went through the last couple of years. I was one of the skeptics regarding bringing him back, but I'm sure glad to see him playing like this.

I suspect if both sides want him back, money will not screw it up by either side. Just a gut feel. It's not like he can treaten to sign with another team. His family won't want him too. He has said as much. At the same time, if the Steelers want him back, they will be fair. It will depend on how James feels in the spring.
