Bill belichick would have cut him after that sideline incident and that locker room incident with fb live. So would have jon gruden, sean Payton, and a few others. Tomlin is not this disclipned guy. He has no control over the team nor locker room. Even james harrison said it.

Absolutely absurd to think the best receiver in the game would be cut for such little offenses. Throwing a water cooler? Seriously?

Belichick would have benched him for the FB Live, for a qtr, maybe a game, fined him, sure but 0 chance he'd have cut him. Even less so for the other coaches you listed.

Ok keep telling yourself that to think these are just minor things to guys who preach order and discipline like a belichick. Did you see how head case Ochocinco acted in ne? He was a model citizen. So was randy moss and when he acted up they traded him midseason after he had just roasted a prime darelle revis for a td. This is also the same guy who benched malcolm butler for the entire sb..

I was much more embarrassed when Ben was accused of sexually assaulting a college woman or when Harrison got in trouble for beating his baby's momma, but maybe that is just me.

You may be on to something... our worst seasons in the last 20 years landed us Ben and Troy in the draft.

    We need high-end talent.

Yep. I think we'll be picking with Buffalo, if the defense keeps up it's futility. The Browns are the only easy team left on the schedule and we tied them. They really need to go all out on a 4-3 alignment... draft the best Alabama DT, DE or LB in the first round.

I said he’d bench him but you’re nuts if you think he’s just cut him for this stuff. He would have gotten roasted for the FB live thing but the other stuff? Please.

He cut Moss after he used him up. AB is still in his prime.

Moss was cut 4 games into that season like I said after he roasted a prime darelle revis. He wasnt used up and had just came off a 1300 yard and 13 league leading td season. How was he used up? And he would trade ab. Of course he wouldn't not get compensation for him but he would have been out of ne.

You are going to have the prime example to prove this theory because they traded a 5th for Josh Gordon. Lets see how the Dark one handles him

Gordon isnt a divisive guy in the locker room. He just has drug problems.

The Browns cut ties with him for showing up late and him pulling a hamstring at a photo shoot. The premise of your theory here is that BB won't put up with stuff and will cut anyone isn't it?

Yes but as in what they do IN NE. Not what they did at other places. Moss before he came to ne told ppl in oak he plays when he feels like it and didnt try hard there. Was on his best behavior in ne. Ocho was on his best behavior in ne. Blount was on his best behavior in ne. My point is if those guys did that stuff WHILE IN NE they'd cut them or trade them. So I'm saying had ab done what he done on Pittsburgh and had been playing for ne during those incidents, belichick would have gotten rid of him.

Does that have to do with them being on their best behavior because they are going to get cut or knowing that you can keep your head down and get a SB ring or shot at one? I'm pretty sure Harrison, Blount, Ocho were all thinking the same thing. I'mma get me a ring no way I'm messing that up.

I'm saying players see NE as the sure thing, right or wrong. The go to NE to get a cheap shot at a ring, they come to Pittsburgh to play for a top notch Franchise.

Used up as in his 12th year and the last year of his contract. AB is in his 8th year.

Its a strawman argument anyway and you're being a bit disingenuous. Moss demanded a trade, started causing way more trouble than wanting the football.

AB and Bells situation isn't remotely the same.

The state of the team on the field doesn't really reflect how the franchise handles itself as a buisness. Literally dozensor do videos on the homepage from players who left and went to other teams or who just played in Pittsburgh who will hold court on what playing for Pittsburgh means as compared to other franchises. I wish yesterday's result were better but Imy not throwing the franchise out over it.

He didnt demand a trade. He wanted a new contract and started make waves in the locker room. Bill got him out. I'll give you another example. Didnt the 49ers get rid of T.O, in his prime and he was the best wr in the game at the time, and they did it for throwing tirades similar to ab but yet you just said a team wouldnt give up the best wr in football just for flipping a cooler, arguing with coaches on multiple occasions on the sideline, filming a fb live while your head coach is talking, the two twitter incidents, and his tendency to not celebrate victories he wasnt heavily involved in..
