What about Bobby Petrino. He will probably never get a real HC job again(rightfully so), but He's a great offensive mind....just a terrible HC.
So He could be brought in with lower money.
Most Qbs from running, and pocket Qbs have looked their best under Him.
    Thoughts????

Too slimy for my tastes but I am open to anyone at this point. It can't be worse can it?

That's why I said not ever more then a OC, but You can't deny the Qbs that have shined under Him.
Plus He'd be cheap I bet.

I forgot all about him. However with me being a Ga boy, it's a hard no for me.

Yes he came to train Vick and vick got in trouble. But petrino did that organization wrong. He told them 24 hours before leaving mid season he promised he was not going anywhere. And then he left a note on the door for the players to see that they were going to be without a coach. Thats some dirty stuff right there.

So if he did that as a HC with mad money. You better bet he would leave us in heart beat to go back to colleges to HC.

Agree. He actually made the Falcons go further into the abyss that was already at the bottom. What a low life. JMO>

Yep. No thanks on Petrino. He's always looking for a promotion.

I don't hate this idea. I think he'd be excellent for Pickett's development.

Reich calls the offense for the Colts. They are the only team with a more anemic offense than us. Just saying…

The Colts are a mess, they keep going after those washed up QBs, Jonathan Taylor has been injured. The Steelers have more talent on offense than the Colts.

This. Whomever thought it was a good idea to sign a broken Carson Wentz and a washed up Matt Ryan should have been canned first.

Luck rapid retirement hurt the team, they had no plan. I would vote yes on bringing him in.

    LoL....that's why I said OC.
You can't deny that all the Qbs he has coached looked their best with Him. Running Qbs, and Pocket Qbs....So he doesn't have to have a certain kind for production of His system.

If we were going with another college oc then the head coach of Tennessee would get my vote. Wherever that guy goes offense follows. Well up until he visited Athens on Saturday

I guess people didn't read what I said. No real college will hire Him....so a cheap, and effective OC.
Name Me one Qb...running, or pocket that didn't look better as His Qb???

He's not taking less to be a OC here. I was trying to think of Coaches that are great offensive minds most places they go.....that would actually go to the NFL for a OC job. Only way Tennessee coach is coming is as a HC.
