Sorry, you don't know WTF you are talking about. I didn't hear one peep about this type of nonsense from people when the team started the season 11-0. Starting the season 11-0 is something no other Steelers team ever did.

The mistakes, injuries, and poor execution caught up to the Steelers in the last 3 losses.

The fact that you don't believe that the Steelers are committed to winning the Superbowl is laughable.

Uhh yeah whenever they were 11-0 why would we talk about this? Get rid of the coach he has a perfect season so far lol.

Uhhh yeah and it's really stupid to believe that the fans care more about winning than the Steelers. When in fact the Steelers have been a winning organization for the last 40+ years.

This organizations ability to win is one reason why we continue to be fans.

When the team loses or faces adversity some fans minds short circuit.

Im not sure it’s always been the same mistakes. I’ve seen a lot of folks overlook individual errors in order to jump straight to the “it’s Tomlin etc etc”. Hence it looks like similar issues from a certain lens, but not from others.

At the same time, there *are* some consistent issues. Randy Fichtner being the main one.

In an effort to save paper (I'm old) the mods should make two threads. One titled Fired Tomlin and the other Keep Tomlin and all these threads and post would be combined.

I actually think his friendship with Ben is a bigger factor.

Matt Canada will be the next OC of the Steelers, mark my words.

I remember people on this board complaining of posters who posted many concerns about how we were playing and we were still undefeated. Looks like those concerns have manifested into our current state of affairs. Saying no one did such is just not true. Go back to the posts right after the last Rats game as an example.

I remember coaches and Ben basically doing the same. Who cares if we can't run the ball if we won? Letting bad teams hang around? "The other guys get paid, too."

Apparently double when they play the Steelers.

Only took Noll and Cowher their first 3 seasons to get to the SB and they started with nothing. Been 10 years and counting for MT without Cowhers players, and he's on the verge of losing Cowhers QB. The gig is up hit the road!!!

Did you follow the logic of the posts? This person basically said that the fans are more concerned about winning than the ownership. The ownership has an emotional and financial interests in this team doing well.

This team is always going to have concerns whether they win or lose. The concerns can change from week to week. That's the nature of sports.

The biggest concerns now are the injuries and the play of the QB. Can't do much about the injuries. The QB must improve his play and limit mistakes for this team to have a realistic chance to win.

    Not with these players.

    OLine needs complete rebuild
    RB's need replaced
    QB is pretty much done.

If you are not owning a sports team with the sole focus of competing for championships every year then you have no business being an owner. Plain and simple.

Don't forget the usual "when teams play us they have so much respect for us they give us their best shot." That one is especially gag worthy and even Tomlin used it this year.

This might be the dumbest thing I've ever read on this message board and that's saying something. 70's, 80's, and 90's we were politically incorrect? WTF does that even mean "politically correct" when running a football team? This one of those wacky conspiracy theories? Or you trying to say Tomlin is our coach because he's black?

I think he's getting a lot longer leash, been underachieving and losing embarrassingly...With not as much as a a whisper of him being let go.... Because of it

If there ever came a day when AR2 had to let Tomlin go, you know there would be talking heads bringing that up. I mean you'd have to be in denial to not expect that in today's climate. And I doubt Art is up to the task to defend that decision.
