    When the ball hit the ground it did not pop up. Someone is diving forward, and the ball hits the ground, the ball is going to move no matter what, even with complete control. If the ball is not in his hands, it is going to bounce up. But the ball never popped up out of his hands. He controlled it, and kept it in his hands.
