I forgot to add Jack Butler to the 80s.

And the second is “wow… Ben really is old. He should retire.”

Very few listed whom I don't like. But.....the 90's is chock full of very likable players. Steelers never recovered from loss of Hampton at his peak.

I always say that about Hampton. Look at the scoring D since he's been gone.

So many greats but I'd have to go with the 50's.

If you're going with "the 50's" - shouldn't Richie Cunningham and The Fonz be on that list? :hmm:

Preston Carpenter was one of the first Steelers I knew by name in my infancy back in the "1860's". His card just says "End" - don't think they distinguished much between receivers back then but I recall he was a big guy (6-2 vs 5-9), probably more of a TE with Buddy Dial, Red Mack, Jimmy Orr and Gary Ballman filling the other receiver spots.

Carpenter was a jack of all trades playing RB, WR, TE and KR. He made the Pro-Bowl for the Steelers in 1962 as a TE.

Willie Parker is one of the most underrated Steelers of all time IMO. Never gets the love he deserves, and barely gets mentioned when talking about Steeler running backs.

I was just thinking how tiring this was getting. But it is so much fun to see images of players I did not know much about. And bringing back the memories of my youth. The Immaculate Reception and 4 Super Bowls from ages 10-17 was awesome!!!!!

When the wife and I got married in 2012 and were still on Facebook I started posting love songs on her page like two weeks out from the day. By the start of week two it was becoming a chore to find love songs not because there aren't a million of them but because her anxiety as the big day approached had her trying to extract hidden meaning from each choice when sometimes I just liked the song. Dammit sometimes Fishing in the Dark is self explanatory there is no hidden meaning.
