It's always a great day to be a Steelers fan.

Just thought I'd insert a little reality check.

Every day is a great day to be a Steeler fan. Even if they are stinking it up right now.

 

I have been a STEELER fan since 12/23/72......Been here for the ups.....Lived through the downs....Will I always be proud to be a STEELER fan? YOU BET.....Do I think today is a "great day" to be a STEELER fan?....Its a shame how these owners,FO personal,coaches and players are destroying this team! So no today is not a great day to be a STEELER fan. We deserve better!!!

 

Well we are better than Tampa Bay and Jacksonville LOL!!!!!

 

I lived thru the 80`s, cheering for the Black and Gold, and will NEVER stop...
However this season feels like the absolutely WORST to be a Steeler fan.
Never before did we have to watch 55 points, and over 600 yards of total offense put up on us.
Only before most of the people on this board were born, did we have to witness an 0-4 start...
"Obviously", I will stick by my team, that has had more overall success than any other, since the merger...
But, I have never been so disappointed in them, as I am right now.
C`mon Steelers, get yer **** together!!!

We have differing opinions of the word "great". LOL.

 

It's always great to be a steelers fan. Our legacy alone is why it's great.

 

Even as bad as we've looked this year, we still have SIX Lombardi's!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I go back a few more years than that but I couldn't agree more. This season is unbearable. The only positive thing for me is that I got PO'd at direct tv a few years back and cancelled my NFL Sunday ticket. I guess I should consider myself lucky that I can only listen this garbage.

I will always bleed Black N Gold but this ain't the way the Steelers should ever be playing as professionally. Art Sr. probably can't stop rolling in his grave week in and week out right now. Where did the PRIDE go?

 

And there are two teams behind us with 5......And how close did we come last year from having to SHARE 6 with the 9ers???.....Yinz really want to SHARE 6?.....I DONT!!!!!!

 

The organization gave the fans a lot of winning seasons. A down year was going to eventually happen based on the nature of sports. No team can stay on top or near the top forever. Maybe the organization deserves better then the fans are giving them right now?

 

HUH.....Did you read my post? REALLY???? I have been a STEELER fan for 41 years..41 F*%#ing years.. I have lived through MANY down years.MANY!!!......THIS IS THE WORST!!!! How old are you?

 

Agreed, but ONLY because we fought back in this one, to tie it 24-24...
That ALMOST makes it worse, in a way, The Clowns just wiped the field with us, and games with them were VERY rarely that one-sided, either way, although, I recall welcoming them back into the league, with a similar ass-kicking. And giving them another, in their home-opener the year they traded Charlie Fry, the week after we killed them in their house...Not sure, but it was roughly 10 yrs ago...
The only loss that felt worse to me, was whn Baltimore, completeley had their way with us, in Baltimore, to start the season, about 4 years ago.. THAT SUCKED!
Not that I wanna compare what our "worst losses" were, but this year, when we are getting the most points in our history, scored against us, and we can`t seem to stop the run, or much of anything else...
This is what I am reduced to.

No worries, Harbaugh's head will explode before the 9ers get another win. Last year was their shot.

 

Well they came close and we aint gaining any ground on a 7th...So yeah Im worried!!!!!

 

The 9ers aren't the same team this year either. Not nearly as bad as us but.................IMO. the Seahawks win that division.

 

IMO the Seahawks win the Super Bowl if they can get their o linemen back and healthy by the playoffs.
