Bring it! These are the games that you live for.

They are an organization that hates the Steelers and resents the decades of beatdowns. They are going to give it everything they have to win this game and take what they think is their rightful place above the Steelers with all those first round draft picks. It will make it all the sweeter if the Steelers can punk them in their own house and sweep the season series.

Nobody said it was going to be easy.....but that's the fun of it.

But the Steelers have lost to both of those teams, so they would lose a tie-breaker.

True but they can still be ahead record wise against one of those teams

Houston and CJ Stroud are all of the rage in the NFL now but they are still only 5-4 with last second wins the past 2 weeks. They are up and down beating the Bengals but also being the only team to lose to the Panthers this year.

They are better each week and they have a very favorable schedule for the rest of the season

2023 Houston Texans Rosters, Stats, Schedule, Team Draftees, Injury Reports | Pro-Football-Reference.com

If they beat the jaguars in 2 week, they have good chance to win their division.Their next 3 games are at home(Cards, jaguars and broncos)

Yes, that's why they need to win more AFC North games. They need to keep ahead of other AFC teams with a better conference record. If they can split their 4 remaining AFC North games, and beat NE and Indy, they should get in, with Arizona giving them some margin, but that game won't affect conference record tie-breakers. Their net points is also a tie-breaker issue.

I heard something crazy today on the radio. The Browns are the 1st team this year to not lead at anytime the last game, and still win. LoL

If we just take Care of AFCN which will be very hard....we wouldn't have to win anything else.

We will struggle to gain 200 yards total offense vs this D. They are very good.

Please stop. There are wacko games in the NFL every single week. We've lost more than a few games in recent few years that we could have/should have won. Nobody feels sorry for us or says, "that was a bad, lucky, game...let's give it to the Steelers." A win IS a win. Injury? Where's Minkah? Where was Cam half the season...don't give me injury crap. That's bogus. This team keeps fighting and finds ways to win. Watson is a mistake machine. The Browns tighten up against us and make mental and physical errors. Yes, we will need the defense to make big plays...but the Brownies just might help them do it.

I disagree, due to following reasons.

    1. Kenny went 200+ yards. With 1 TD and 1 Int. Against them.
    2. Jones and Washington are really helping out the run.

But you are correct they stuff the run, but only on big names. They shut down the mcgaffrey and Henry. But...
    - ravens RB got his average in one game. With the other being shut down.
    - cardinals Connor was not in
    - colts jonathan Taylor got his second most yards this season against them
    - Seahawks two RB had the most average rushing.
.... so when playing not big name running backs they don't shut it down.

I think the timing is bad for us (this game against the Browns). We might mail this one in and then put in a good effort against the Bungles.

If we win, I expect it would be a low scoring game and we got some turnovers.

Browns just won a Super Bowl against the old Browns. Expect them to lay an egg.

Feels like that’s the way the NFL works. Look great 1 week than like crap the next. I just have no idea how the offense will move the ball vs them. We will need several turnovers or defensive TDs to win and that is unlikely.

Hard to get points without yards... if we have less than 200 total yards, we will need another multi-TD game from the defense to win.

    1. Well, 71 yards of the 222 Kenny had was on a singular catch and run by Pickens. We had less than 10 yards in the 4th quarter and won the game with a defensive TD late. We absolutely have to find a way to run the ball if we want to move it on the Browns. It's attainable, but we have to execute.
    2. Yes they are, Daniels has been a beast ever since Jones lined up next to him too. I would expect us to run the ball fairly well. We will have to if we want to win.

Ye have little faith(referring to the predict the score thread). There is no reason the Steelers can't win this game. Stout defences on both sides of the ball and the best tandem rbs in the league. The run game may not be as good as it was the last two games but we need to be prepared for a good game. Not going to give up on these guys. Both teams have significant injuries so will see. I don't listen to the prognosticators. They are full of crap. I watched 5 analysts pick LA over the Steelers and we all know how that went.
