I watched the game yesterday, and aside from the 8 TO and all of the penalties I found a few plays that stood out to me more so than others. Not saying these plays cost us the game, BUT they didnt help....some final thoughts
    1) 1st series 3rd & 4 and we ran the ball? Right there I knew what they thought about Batch!

    2) Harrison finally showed up and he seems to be getting into game shape

    3) IKe T squared had 2 INT's in his grasp, and the 2nd was no doubt a pick 6. It actually went through his hands? Really

    4) 2 big pass attempts to Wallace. 1st one bounced off a Browns DB's helmet, and MW made no attempt to slow down his route on the under thrown ball? NONE? 2nd long bomb with 3 miinutes left in the game, and once again MW does not adjust his route / slow down and COME BACK to the ball? Im guessing 80% of the time the DB will get a flag for PI if MW or any WR just comes back and makes an effort to get the ball! I was taught this stuff back in my middle school days yet a true professional WR cant do it??? If a WR wants the ball bad enough they will get it! (See Panthers Steve Smith a year back)

    5) Rainey bounced around the backfield and finally shot through a hile to gain 7, and at the end was absolutely crushed by a LB! I told myself then "Rainey will DIE if they let him carry more than 4 times a game," and this almost came true when he got crushed once again near the end of the game which is when he got hurt. Kid has speed and heart, but bones can only take so much???

    6) Miller gains 33 yards on a catch and run, and it comes back due to a flag. To me that was a killer bc it seemed that Batch was starting to throw a little better....

    7) Seconds later Batch uncorks a pass to Sanders for 32 yards, and Sanders does not MAKE A PLAY on the ball? The ball was actually a dam good pass, and Sanders came out of his route, stopped, and was standing next to the Browns LB? who almost picked it off? All he had to do was GET THE BALL!

    8) D is playing quite well. The last two weeks they have done all they can to bring it home, but its too bad we dont have a backup QB that matters?? Jerrod Johnson ( the QB cut in camp) couldnt have done worse? Sundays game IS THE SEASON!

I still like to know what anyone expected of Wallace on the pass that bounced off the dudes helmet. It was severely under thrown and not a catchable ball, put the blame where it belongs. Batch threw a terrible ball, that had he thrown correctly would have been a long completion or even a TD. Some of this criticism of Wallace is way over the top. I'm not pleased with him either but keep it realistic.
