He would be a terrific B/U to Mahomes. I might even take a preseason bet on the SB with that line up, though we would be about 80 million over the cap.

What is fair is not what they realistically think in these situations. Remember we could have anyone in the draft by just trading up with any team at anytime offering inferior players/picks..or even guys who are no longer on our roster. We can do that because we are the Steelers..thats just how it works.

Why can other teams do this and we can't? Your sarcasm .... insinuates that it has never happened before.

I was with you until you got to Dak. He doesn't belong with these other guys. Playing the eagles to win the division, 44 passes against the #18 pass defense and not a single TD to show for it. That is 4th round talent. And he thinks he should be paid top 5 money? Laughable.

Average would mean average results (8-8) with average talent. The fact is our talent this year on offense was drastically below average, and yet we will finish with average results. So how do you explain the results with the offensive talent we have?
Second, we only need to worry this off season about one side of the ball. And whereas the holes are real; quarterback, running back, o-line and tight end, the talent level can be upgraded over the next 2-3 years with good drafts.
Say what you want about the Steelers season, but you ridicule yourself by referring to them as an “average” organization. Literally every former player, current player analyst and front office person disagrees with your assessment of an “average” organization.

I don't really follow the NFC to closely but the Cowboy fans I know are saying the same thing.

Not arguing that it has not happened, or will happen. My point is those who look back at a particular player in hindsight, and declare we COULD have had that player had we just traded with a certain team. Then claiming all it would have cost us was certain picks of players, then stating they know that team was willing to accept that offer. One thing to look back and say 'wish we would have made a move if possible", quite another to declare that move was ours to make and declaring a particular team WOULD have taken that offer.

We have a QB that hasn't went anywhere without a defense to help him.

We're having trouble finding diamonds late in the first round. Trading up for the #1 pick especially if it's a QB is too expensive.

Like trade all your picks for Ricky Williams.

I would give all of ours for a 28 year old Ben.

Remember trashing him when he comes back and takes us to the playoffs. All the Ben thrashers will be back on his jock.

Once he finds his jock again I will be the first one back on it. He is still my hero & I don't want him leaving football a washed up 350 pound QB.

I don't know. The Niners didn't pass a lot early in the season and he is probably going to get 4000 yards. Montana never hit 4000 not sure if Young ever did. He could be something special.

Cardinals don't seem to use David Johnson much anymore. I would see about him.

I believed in Dak but I now realize he shrinks in big games and gets garbage time stats to make up for it.

overall stats show he is good but he is far from clutch when he needs to be
