The real question is will Ben choke again like the last Jacksonville game and the New England game?Then will he whine it was the coach's fault? Yes, he will. Ben loses the game again and hopefully retires.

they know there is a problem at safety or they wouldn't still be working out guys as late as last week. the trouble is making the move with someone. we have guys that could be moved there but as of yet we haven't done it and that is on the coaching staff. we went through this stuff last year in the secondary. we stayed with what we do and hope like heck it works. if not we say well we didn't think we had the personnel to do it. well we do and we made adjustments, yet with mitchell we haven't done this for some reason. he's having a terrible year and we know it. burns was benched. why not mitchell? why did MT tell hilton to learn both safety spots and not do something with that? we have a better chance of covering the slot with the corners we have and moving the kid back there. or we move davis to FS and play wilcox at strong. either way i believe it gives us a better chance to win. sutton needs to be on the field. haden needs to be on the field. hilton needs to be on the field. davis needs to be on the field. those are no brainers. gay, mitchell and golden should not. that leaves wilcox, burns, sensabaugh and allen. make a move please.

 

Safety should be round 1 pick in '18. There should be some good safeties available when the Steelers pick.

 

Mitchell has been on the field lately, but I wouldn't be surprised if he has some ongoing injury we don't know about.

 

Mock drafts have that being a very good possibility of getting a top one.

I think Roger would wet himself having Bratty and Brees in the SB.

 

At a minimum, you can win the S.B. with the best offense and an average defense or the best defense and an average offense. The Rams and Ravens of the early 2000`s were the extreme examples of that. More often it is a combination. As far as where we stand, when we are clicking on offense, we are at or near the best. Our defense can be ok depending on the matchup. I think we meet the minimum requirements and there is no great team on a mission to win it all.

I would not be shocked If that sb happens, Roger was with kraft at the rams game, I am sure deals are being made and checks are being deposited. ..

This. If the O line protects Ben he will find the time to pick them apart. They are good in the secondary but they can't cover forever. I would look to have some of our guys break deep on Ben's scramble plays. Their guys play tight and are susceptible to our WRs ad libbing and double moves. If Ben stays patient in the pocket for as long as he can guys will come wide open....his second and third progresssions is where he will eat well.....

 

Sure.........if we average scoring 45 a game
