I think this person underestimates the Draw of the NFL. I don't know if there is a place on this planet where the NFL is not going to sell out an International game.

It is funny someone was saying if the NFL keeps its 17 game seasons, they could expand to 16 International games, so every team would play 8 home games, 8 road games and 1 International game.

I really don't understand all the complaining folks do when it comes to sports. Watch it or don't. Everyone streams these days.

The game keeps growing so this idea that it's being ruined is laughable.

Fans boo Goodell at the draft every year. It's cute and all but these fans are paying $20 a pop for a tall can of Ultra to hear names being read on a stage for 3 days.

What other sport has 800K showing up over 3 days for a draft?

60% of sports fans said they had skipped games because the viewing setup had become too expensive. 72% reportedly believed major sporting events should remain on free broadcast television.

Hasnt hurt the league yet but those are bad numbers for the NFL and as you said in this economy and people struggling, fatigue may set in eventually.
