I agree it is a combination of the two for sure, sometimes one can overcome the other ,but very, very rarely. This is why we struggle so much,it's usually one or the other is our downfall. I like Tomlin but I'm getting a little tired of his, woulda, coulda, shoulda. There were plenty of opportunities to reverse the trend mid-game. I do think that they get pigeon holed in their own gameplan more often than not ,for sure. We need to do a better job adjusting on the fly on both sides of the ball. There's a right tool for the right job. Our red zone production can be greatly improved by doing any of the things above just a little better. This area much like our clock management should be able to see the most improvement with more attention to detail. These areas need to be practiced and practiced some more until it becomes second nature. To me I see it as the more we rehearse those game time situations, the better we will become.

i haven't seen good clock management since around 1974. Sorry....

The fact is our defense is terrible, we all know that. Its up to the offensive to score enough points, 30 or more a game, to over come our defensive ineptness. Our offensive line has been doing a decent job. We have a pretty good receiving corp now. We have the tandem of Cheech and Chong who both are beast. We supposedly have a "elite" franchise SB winning QB. Why do we choke in the red zone and settle for FG's all the time? What is missing? Who is not preforming the way that they should?
