Or alternatively, the Pats weren't good enough to beat the Jets...

Exactly. The Jets are the Pats PITA .. They keep coming around and causing difficulties.. Similar to our division and the Ravens. Jets actually look not bad this year on defense.. Shocked they are 2-2 .. I really had them pegged for the next Browns lol

That is not what I meant. Did you watch the Cowboys - Rams game? The Rams gave up 133 yards rushing in the first half but the Rams hung around kicking FGs. In the second half the coaches made an adjustment and Elliot only got 15 yards the rest of the game after getting 70 in the first 2 quarters. When the Steelers have issues in the first half they come out in the second half and perform the exact same way, no adjustments or changes of any kind and it has been that way since Tomlin took over the team. I don't blame him entirely but there is a point in which doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is insane, and that insane experiment is the secondary for the most part. This pass defense has been bad since 2008, and every year it gets worse yet we still continue to add cast offs from not just a single team but guys who have been on, and cut from, multiple practice squads and end up on the depth chart here and see playing time. We do this every season, no changes or adjustment, just keep playing soft zones and hope for a mistake and that is, in my book, piss poor coaching. If you don't have the players to run man coverage and the zone scheme getting run is bad, then change something, or not and come up with creative ways to say you failed.

The season will still be considered a success if the team loses the AFCCG again. It's not only about winning the SB for me. The Steelers are not going to win the SB every year.

The Steelers found ways to win games before Ben came a long and they will find ways to win games after he retires.

    True True,
Good ole Kordell Stewart Took the Steelers to the AFC Championship Game as the 1 seed.
    Kordell was no elite QB.
I would say Kordell was as good as Tyrod Taylor is today.
So to me thats saying the Steelers had the 1 seed and went to the Championship game with a QB as good as Tyrod Taylor.
the Steelers are usually in the hunt no matter the QB

Kind of weird that they show the ability to come back since they apparently make no adjustments.

I would say the coaches are not overall bad, but I agree they are bad when it comes to making in game adjustments, both offensive and defense. They are also bad on using their subs or when to pull someone when they are doing bad example when Chic was getting beat up on the runs and not putting Harrison in, running Bell 35 times a game and not spelling him some. A few years ago when they played Ben against San Fran and in no way he should of been playing due to his injury. The Jarvis Jones experiment, that went on for too long. Its almost like a certain hard headiness or stubborn by the coaches to make changes when its needed quicker. They eventually do make the right changes but takes them too long.

I am more shocked by the offense.

Still no high powered one but good enough to win them two games... or rather hold out long enough in their case.

Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye were stellar draft choices. New York does not need to worry about the Charles Clay's or Gronkowski's as much due to those two. Keep in mind they also acquired Kony Ealy and still have Muhammed Wilkerson, Leonard Williams, Darron Lee and Morris Claiborne.. to name a few.

Not stating he is the savior that so many peg him along with others to be but not having Myles Garrett and players like Jamie Collins and Danny Shelton do not help.

Wondering which direction Cleveland and more specifically Sashi Brown and Paul DePodesta go into next year's draft though. Arden Key, SaQuan Barkley or Derwin James likely match up with the "moneyball" approach.
