Is Mike Tomlin a communist?

In an interview where Tomlin takes responsibility for running a poor offense and a poor defense in 2021, Tomlin clearly states that "(The Pittsburgh Steelers) are a collective."

Is Mike Tomlin now or has he ever been a member of the Communist Party? Is the Steelers culture better suited for a Kibbutz than the NFL?

 

I feel like this thread has the potential to go off the rails.

 

Mike Tomlin is not a Communist. He may be a liar, a pig, an idiot, a Communist, but he is NOT a porn star!

 

He does say "we" a lot and is always talking about "the group"....

 

The word communism originated from the word, "community." I have a feeling this thread won't end well.

 

Usually communist regimes are noted for their iron fisted control and suppressive authority. After incidences like AB's locker room videos, Bell's lack off commitment/conditioning, Jujus tiktok, Claypool's mental lapses; it would be the equivalent of Stalin's gulags looking like Saturday Night Fever.

 

Makes about as much sense as when Arlo Guthrie wrote this tune back in the late 60's :

All jokes aside, team settings should always have a "we" attitude. Its hard for teams working as individuals to have sustained team success. Who would want to work for a company that valued certain employees over others, treating them different, etc.? No one. No one is above the team and the team comes first. Pretty much how any healthy team, corporation, community works.
