Given Dwyer and Redman's sucess I think Medy does not get resigned. The question is does he come back this year and start or is he dropped to third on the depth chart?

He's done!!! Dwyer is #1 now and Redman will give him a run for his money!

Mendy would have fallen down immediately after someone sneezes on him on some of those runs....dude just doesn't run tough....

Don't feel bad about Mendenhall. The Chargers need another fumbling, often hurt running back!:lolol:

Exactly correct and another thing to look at was our ability to run Left and inside....Doug at Center and Pouncey at LG helps this Team...When we get Decastro and Adams back we are 1 OL away from punishing Teams....As I have always seen on the tape if we can get any push Dwyer and Redman will punish Teams....

He is done as our main back. That is Drwyer for the rest of the year. But Mendy might have a roll on the team later in the year.

I would like to see him go but the problem is can Dwyer be an every down back? I'm also skeptical of Redman because he has no real burst. But as far as do I WANT Mendy the answer is a DEFINITE no.

I still like his elusiveness. He's a better receiver out of the backfield then either Dwyer or Redman and has the speed to get outside. But with him being inactive and not being injured, I think he's done in the Burgh.

I agree 100%. He can't drive the pile for an extra yard or two like Dwyer or Redman, but give him some of those holes tonight and he's ripping off huge runs left and right. He won't be back.

Mendy is still the most talented back on the team. I see him getting more playing time...being inactive was Tomlin showing his displeasure.....but it was just to get everyone's attention.

I think Mendenhall is plan B for next year...They will ride with Dwyer, Redman, Rainey, and Batch and be happy to do so.......if they can sign Mendenhall cheap...he will be back...if they he wants cash...and I am sure someone will offer him some...he will be gone.

Quick thought on Redman...I said it a few weeks ago...he needs to stop trying to jump cut behind the LOS....put your head down and get two or three like the moose you are....Stop trying to be Barry Sanders.

HIT THE HOLE YOUNG MAN....and if you are still on your feet...then look to cut...but get me my 3 YARDS!

I've not been a big fan of Mendy since his first year, and I love how Dwyer and Redman have returned the running game to something that can been seen as exciting at times (which has been missing for several years). However, for some reason I don't see Pitt getting rid of Mendy just yet.
