..or is Chiefs kicker just that good? That's clutch making 3 in a row from those distances.

I cannot find elevation for SoFi; weird at that. Harrison Butker though is a different level. He trails Justin Tucker for Field Goals. Keep in mind Butker is 6'4; way taller and bigger than most Kickers.

Dude is a monster for certain.

I thought he was 6'5 initially.

What’s really strange is that we don’t see more of the bigger kickers. The only thing I can think of is that it impacts the timing of the kicks.

I imagine if you’re taller, you’re going to have to set up a little further out so you can get your steps in. Either that or shorten your swing. Also, I bet there’s some physics about planting and foot speed at the point of impact that somehow limits the range of humans kicking the football.

I remember Janikowski was just 6’1, but he was over 260.

I found something that says SoFi is 125’ above sea level. The playing field though, is actually 100’ below the ground level there. I remember seeing the excavation pictures and even some of those exterior shots looking in and it’s pretty cool looking.

Yeah that’s what I found as well. So the actual playing surface is only 25-35 feet above sea level.

Similar to Qualcomm though, I think, the playing field here is actually below sea level
