Now that the season is ALMOST a wash I would make these moves:

    Offense

Start Wheaton over Sanders (whenever he gets fully healthy)
Move Dwyer to Number 2 on the depth chart and give him more snaps, 70 -30 or 60 - 40 with Bell
Split or give Moye more snaps with or over Cotchery
Leave the O-Line where it is and see how they continue to gel
Find some more plays for Wil Johnson (just 3 more touches per game)

    Defense

    Start
Clark but bring in Golden after halftime (If he shows you something then he would get the start moving forward)
Find more playing time for Shamarko (Split time with Troy 50 -50 or 40 - 60)
    Continue to rotate Keisel

I would draft a NT, T, DB, WR, K, DB (probably in this order)
Move Mclendon to the right, Cam to the left of your NEW NT

Offensively I would retain Velasco, move Pouncey to Guard with Decastro (your tackles can ALL compete for 1st string status in camp)

Also hope that Spence, D Johnson, and Embernate come back fully healthy next year

    Thoughts?

Kicker? Are you serious?? If we draft a kicker in the 2014 NFL draft with all of our glaring needs elsewhere, I will personally drive to Pittsurgh and picket the Steelers FO!

I agree with the rest of your post.

Yes! Move Mclendon over to LDE and try Fanguopo at NT. I really believe Mclendon would be better as a DE. Just a hunch.

I'm down with all but the kicker, also. I would like to see the young guys get more time/reps on the field. Unless Tomlin and the FO don't think these guys are the future. But, then, that would be a completely different can of worms, wouldn't it? :lolol:

The thought of McClendon and Heyward at DE and a more true NT has crossed my mind as well. Also in favor of giving reps to Wheaton over Sanders. I really question Sanders football knowledge. He seems to be the receiver that is most often "not on the same page" as Ben.

Most of these things we should be doing, regardless of our record!
